You know...not bad at all. It's a simple picture, but nicely detailed too. I admit, I've never played a NiGHTS game before, but I've heard plenty about the character and even saw a few LPs of the game, so I know who NiGHTS is. The colors here are bright and pretty to look at, much like the respective games they come from. The poses are cool too. I like how NiGHTS is just hovering there giving us a "peace" sign while Sonic's giving a salute of some kind. The background words are nice too; very true to their original word art design.
If Sega ever tried to mesh these two characters together in a game, it really would not be too far of a stretch. NiGHTS is simply a creature of the dream world. Perhaps Eggman finds a strange energy source that perplexes him, but he soon discovers that he can feel it's presence when he sleeps and dreams. So he captures Sonic and puts him into a stupor to not only destroy his rival (while ever toying with him through his dreams), but also use Sonic to track down the source of the energy to one day harness its power. Sonic then discovers NiGHTS, who he then tells his dilemma to. NiGHTS decides that this could be fun and the two embark on an adventure to find a way to get Sonic out of this infinite dream. But then Wizeman appears and NiGHTS must ask for Sonic's help to save Nightopia. Sonic agrees, and now they help each other achieve their goals to not only stop Wizeman, but the nefarious attempts of Dr. Eggman to destroy Sonic once and for all.
I know that's a strange idea, but then again...when have Sonic and NiGHTS games ever made sense. They don't have to, and that's their charm.

Aw sweet! Sonic and NiGHTS with their special lil gems...that decide the fate of their worlds and..yeah. I didn't realize that they and Billy have em til I saw this. xD for THAT theme, adding Billy would complete this drawing, but Sonic and NiGHTS are from the older consoles and still live on, y'know? XP
You got nice solid colors here, and nice job with the blue, purple and white in the background. their logo-ish names remind me of how it was in Sonic 2.
