Because kids are innocent, right? : D.....
Yeah, those of you who've seen my Pain and Torture meme know that Karin is anything but innocent. In fact, she's a phycotic little sadist, but hey, Zero dont know that. If innocence is (according to dictionary.com) the "lack of knowledge or understanding," then who's the real innocent one here?
I just wanted to play on the idea that all kids are innocent. They are not. My other reason for this little picture is I realized I didn't have many pictures of Karin in cute innocent mode, and I dont think I have a single one of her, Rei and Zero together.
Back story here is that Rei met Karin one day on his travels (i think he was in Russia), and one way or another he ended up as sorta her unofficial guardian. Yeah, sorry, not much of a story.

it does my heart good when i'm walking around a neighborhood and an icecream truck drives by with kids running after it. they still do it in this day and age. its awesome.

I also see a larger size (and age) difference/notation with Karin on the picture alongside Zero and Rei. Also because they are not as chibi as you draw them before.

i'm not so sure if i want to keep Karin sadistic, or just make her evil. i might also have made her seem a little younger than she is, i wasnt sure of her age (as she is a new character) but i know she must be in the 6 to 8 year old range.
and i'm working on my humans >w< trying to get out of the deadly chibi pit.
if bath tubs can have feet, why not benches? XD

And agreed that kids are innocence regardless what they do. Unless their hearts are tainted by the real problems of the world, then they are innocent no more.

i dont like kids, and i think that, if left alone, kids are just as susceptible to doing terrible things to survive as any adult. they just lack the knowledge to come up with really bad things, but the world is a good teacher, you can be sure of that.

Because Zero's a happy-go-lucky girl with sunny look, and Rei's a serious right path walker. A psycopath has a really hard way to find herself there. In human analisis, those kind of people either never trust anyone or live by killing and lieing

she's not human though, so you cant analyze her. B ) she is a two-faced murderer, I'm sure she'd have reason to find sanctuary among people who she has won the trust of. on the surface she is only just a small child after all.

No but suddenly going for "she's not human" is going for a easy way out, and then, you have to work that up. And it would only make all the whole "livin' in a mirror" stuff weird and hard to work with

and no, i didnt just make up that she isnt a human, she was originally a demon and that was why she is able to split her soul into the mirror. i got rid of the demon idea later because i do that too much.
