So for one of my Patreon Requests, I was asked to redesign my least favorite pokemon. After some deliberation, I've decided my least favorite pokemon is hitmonchan XD
I understand that its head is supposed to be a hand, similar to how hitmonlee's head is supposed to be a foot, but it just doesnt work for me, the head shape is stupid. I dont like it's boxing gloves. I hate its weird skirt thing. And those uggo sock shoes. The KNEES!
I always liked hitmonlee better, so for the redesign I tried to incorporate more elements of hitmonlee so that its more of a mirror. I gave it scrawny little legs like how Lee has scrawny arms, I gave it eyes that matches Lee, and no mouth, and i kept the color scheme (why is hitmontop blue? 3_3). The hand motif had to stay, and that was maybe the hardest part of the design XD I went with silly hair hands haha. Lastly, I copied Lucario's pants to give it some boxer shorts. I hope you like how all these elements came together!
