Zekrom!!!!!!!! I'm so happy with how Zekrom turned out, I remember the first time I attempted to draw it and maaaan it was not good. Been practicing for a while now and it really paid off, I love her powerful physique, and I kinda dig how she kinda just turns into a giant shadow sometimes (especially against the bright sky). Everyone in this episode was a pain to draw tho. Every time I opened the file to do line art I would be met by Ghetsis or Alder or Zekrom or even Hydreigon, none of which I enjoy drawing. I will never understand how Ghetsis or Alder's outfits work. >m< Thanks for your patience, I know two months feels like a long time to wait for just one single normal length episode, but with everything that's going on it's really nice to have the extra time to work on the episode. Zekrom seems to have a real power and confidence to her! She almost radiates the sense of being a bully? Fantastic for a threatening dragon such as her.
I love the way Hydreigon is drawn too, super threatening!

Zekrom certainly seems to have a proud and blood knight personality to her, meaning when the time comes to fight her, it will certainly be a difficult fight, and who knows how she'll take defeat. N no longer has any limits to his ideals, Jet having pushed him further along into believing he is right even while he is willing to accept she has her own truth because it makes it all the more legitimate to him. And dang, Ghetsis just shows so many creepy vibes throughout this, and the fact he's already playing psychological warfare with both Alder and Jet shows he intends to make them cower at the right moment. Jet's journey just became tougher now that talking is off the table. Hopefully she'll find the conviction needed to face N like this.

I love the term you use for Zekrom, she really is a blood knight type of character.
And yeah, Ghetsis is pretty sinister all things considered. He has this great line in the games that I'm sad I couldnt fit in where he says "Granted, the moment when someone loses all hope... I really do love to watch that moment."
I really do need to make sure Jet has enough conviction before heading to the E4, because its not going to be an easy ride

oh she is absolutely into it. After all, she picks heroes based on how much they believe in their ideals, she doesnt even care about the logistics. tho also I think she's been a bit bored waiting in the castle for so many years :U

: 3 yeah! i actually decided to do that after researching on taoism, in yin and yang philosophy the darkness yin also contains the feminine aspect. it was weird at first but it's grown on me, I love zekrom as a big buff girl and now i cant see her any other way!

Welp, guess now I have two fem dragons to love.
I always saw Reshiram as a female as well, with it's hourglass like shape, head fluff resembling dangling hair. It might also be because of the animated short, in which N is shown with Reshiram, it simply...looks feminine.
You can't look at Reshiram and tell me it looks more masculine than Zekrom, and if Zekrom is fem, so is Reshiram.
