My entry for Jazza's Age Swap challenge. I've been wanting to draw these kids as adults for a while now, so this challenge was the perfect excuse to get started. I loved all the movies, I own pretty much all of them and still listen to the songs along side my disney playlist. I'd love to see these friends still hanging out when they are big fat grown ups XDCharacters from right to left are of course: Little Foot, Cera, Petri, Chomber, Ducky, and Spike.

I'll be honest, sadly the majority of the sequels are a mix of kiddie dynamics, but if your in the mood to see dinos it's not that bad.
I think the musicals and song lyrics go a bit down hill as well as the action of fights.

heh, i have to be honest, i enjoy the songs even now, and some of them still bring me to tears even up to the 10th film.
i haven't really watched any past that.

Well I'd say go ahead and watch them if you get the chance. I never ever cared for the singing, just the fact they where dinos so no harm done.

You absolutely got Ducky's look down, great job..! She was always the chirpy one, but you've managed to dash in a bit of a mellowed touch that would've reasonably developed in her in due age.
Movie-wise, the first was the best, in every sense of art direction, emotional direction, lightplay and music. I see the subsequent movies as 'episodes' rather than canonical movie continuity. But what I did enjoy about the subsequent movies was the advent of Chomper; he was the best concept they could've ever spliced into the continuity, his chemistry, his purity, heck, his very identity just leaves the fandom reeling from the sheer juicyness of it. Even though i don't have the hots for their subsequent art style, LBT NEEDS Chomper.Β

yes, chomper was a great touch, i always wondered if they would stay friends when he grew up, since all sharpteeth seem to be mindless monsters. the art style certainly didn't have the charm of the first movie, but it still had a certain charm to it. episodes is the best way to put it.

I don't like the other Movies, because the style is not beautiful, they never grew up and it was too happy for my Childhood after the Movie. I watch all of them, but they was boring. ;__;

Its been a long time since I've seen that movie, though rewatching it as an adult made me really appreciate it, I love how it does capture the look of the adults while retaining their childhood traits!Β
