Description
The...oh. Oh.......
So coral can regenerate right? And corsola tend to break off their horns, or just shed them like antlers when they're healthy, so I wonder how much of them they can lose and still regenerate. also what would the inside of a corsola look like?
the folks in the stream speculate this is the result of a razor leaf XD

Since coral is just a colony of a lot of little individual polyps, I don't even think they would see the need to 'regenerate' into any particular shape.Β
Many invertebrates have a "mouth and stomach" pouch, so that could be its mouth. The only problem is the eyes- some simple invertebrates have at least very rudimentary eyes- annelids I believe? But I don't think a mechanism for growing them back exists.Β
Anyway, in conclusion, I don't think this would *kill* a Corsola, but I do think it would forever remain one-eyed.Β
Oh wait, just looked into it a bit, apparently some worms can regenerate heads:Β www.livescience.com/38405-how-β¦ "If you cut these worms anywhere along their length, the head portion will grow a new tail, and the tail portion will grow a new head." According to this, you'd actually end up with TWO Corsolas- so sort of forced asexual reproduction. Would . . . that count as rape? >_> I mean, you have a sibling/offspring that shares a bit of your brain (potentially memories?) that you can't have back anymore. That's pretty twisted if looked at that way.

oh man....but it says along it's length, but this corsola had it's head cut. maybe that's not enough for the small part to reform into a full corsola? if it did i would imagin it as a really small corsola. i also wonder if memory would work that way, or if you would just lose brain function, and the new small corsola is like severly brain damaged since it has only a teeny tiny bit of brain to start with
i never really thought of coral as worms before, so if it's a colony maybe you could just put the cut off section on top and it'll slowly graft itself back together? i like the idea of it regenerating but without the eye. That could be really cool.

Nope. Don't take anything the Pokedex says seriously. Anything the Pokedex says in any game, ESPECIALLY Gen 7, don't even believe it.
