Day 38, Shellder, Cloyster.This one isn't inspired by anything. I was reading the Bulbapedia entry for Cloyster, and it turns out these pokemon swim by swallowing water and jettisoning it out of their rear. Pchoooo!

I was hoping that they'd one day show what exactly is inside the shells, cause the pokemon is in fact INSIDE the shell, not the shell it self(if I read correctly) Anyways, one can only wonder.

i know the bulba page for cloyster sais it's body looks like a black pearl, so i've pretty much accepted that. shellder, though, can still pass as "the shadow that hides it's body," but i pretty much just believe it's the black body. because i have no sense of wonder after growing up into a curmudgeoned adult. XD
