I used a mask and shaper, shaping the light, plus most of the blur comes from the lens, 1.2 opening at 85mm.

It's like a dream state; that moment in REM right before you wake up, something you vaguely remember.
scanners can be bitches, it must just be the transfer from to digital. That happens to my negatives a lot.
