At any rate, was kind enough to lend me a link to her pose and proportion tutorials and this is the end result after maybe a few minutes of work in GIMP.

The fact is this though; I do not own a tablet, nor do I own a scanner.

I can draw free-hand with a pencil and paper much, much better than I used to be able to, but my proportions still need some work. If I had a scanner, I would have drawn something free-hand, scanned it, and colored it in with GIMP, but right now, as I lack a scanner of any description, that's out of the question. I'm just going to have to, for now, get back in the swing of drawing things, line by line, vector by vector, in GIMP like I used to.
