I had a bad day at school;are you listening?
I haven't been happy in years;
are you listening?
I tried to cut myself;
are you listening?
I shot myself in the head.
Can you hear me now?

I'm not trying to be morbid, but this reminds me strongly of a poem I remember well:
Laugh and the world laughs with you.
Weep, and you weep alone:
For this stolid old earth
Has need of your mirth,
It has troubles enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will echo it:
Sigh, and it's lost on the air;
For they want full measure
Of all your pleasure,
But nobody wants your care.
Feast, and your halls are crowded,
Fast, and they'll pass you by;

His name was Brian and it happened at the begginning of the year so im dealing. The only reason I wrote it is because I was thinking of the reason why he would do something like that.

it's good... but I just don't understand suicide... if I felt like no one cared about me and there was no puspose for me being around... and every day was just pain... I'd stick around and be a real asshole... just to spite the mother fuckers that made me feel that way... no matter hat happens... I ain't goin anywhere.

I know I was angry at the fact that he did what he did because its almost like saying..I have noone that love or cares about me when I was right there so it made me mad.

yea... I know that I'd be really pissed if someone I cared about didn't aknowlage that and acted as if no one cared and then went and killed themself... that's really a selfish thing to do, to not consider the feelings of others...

I'm sorry about your friend. I'm sorry that to have someone's attention that your friend had to do that. Very good poem you've written. The last to lines made the biggest impact..
