Description This place is beyond the borders of the world of the loved and living. Though the creatures here were not dead, they live a life where the ones closest to them have forsaken and betrayed them. They have become The Lost, and now they reside here, in the lonely little abyss of The Land of The Lost, where the world seems changed by the overwhelming sadness in the residents here. The trees are bare, and do not bloom.

"We don't get visitors often, but those from your lands discomfort those here."

The voice is dark, and threatening as a shaded wolf stepped from the shadows of a nearby tree.

Stories have been told of this angry creature. It was said to children that if they didn't behave, that the demon wolf Zero would come to their bed at night and eat them whole.

The stories do not precede him. He is not six feet tall, does not carry a sword, and does not have a necklace made of human bones. In fact, he's only slightly larger than a normal wolf. But the deepening sense of darkness and anger in the area is enough to make you understand, why this creature was so feared. He is the Guardian of Lost Souls, and has long been one himself.

An eerie glow from the slitted orange eyes is enough to confirm the fact that this wolf is not to be trifled with.

You turn and leave, knowing he's watching you go. After he has deemed you far enough away, a haunting howl reaches your ears.

When You Lose Your Way, Think Not With Your
Mind, But With Your Heart.

Without That, You Have No Heart, No Love.

You Are Lost.

Oh My God, Lineless painting!

It has happened! Zeroki has lost her mind!

Are you wondering why I'm called him Zero instead of Zeroki?

Because Ki, (pronouced like KEY) is my happy, good side. AKA, The Loved Soul. Put The two together Zero+Ki = Zeroki! Haha. Yeah. Enjoy this and please do comment, I love hearing from people who look at my artwork and hearing what they think.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

*waves meekly* Eh heh heh, hi?? 8D; I know, once again, I'm late with a comment and a fav. TT; But yeah, here I am! *laughs sheepishly*

...

*ahem* >>; Anyway! Wow, this is yet another excellent piece from you Zeroki; I really love the whole dark concept of this art. The mystery and the shadowy effects had me staring; I love the little details you put into this, especially in the trees and the highlights on the wolf himself. The pose really makes him look like he has the authority there and he really radiates that powerful aura, a someone that we shouldn't mess with. Hell, it looks like he's about to come after me if I don't leave! xD It's seriously way too cool how you did the glowing effects of the eyes and it just makes the character look all more menacing and dangerous. The lineless of the character really made this work and almost makes him faded into the darkness. I love how you chose the color blue for The Land of The Lost; just a whole different variety of them and it really intensify the mood of the scenery. Also, nice effect with the fog; like Januchan said, it really creates the mystery and the cold mist. Ooohh *shudders* I have to admit, the background story behind this art gave me goosebumps! I love it. xD It's very eerie and gave me strong images in my head; if you have more to the story or a plotline, I would love to hear about it. Like the paradise picture you did of Ki, this is also a beautiful, powerful piece and definitely is one of your best, yet.

Wheeee~

A wonderful piece. Comes off as being both very dark and mystical; the forest is an enticing place, with well textured trees, and a luminous glow which almost makes one feel serene...amidst the cold mist. Charming and deceptive. Well done!

This is beautiful, and the back story is so legendary. I love it. So are you gonna create a story line involving this character? If so I can't wait to read it.
