THE CRIMSON WOLF'S BACKSTORY (Note: These stories are merely just a joke and shouldn't be taken seriously)

Born around the time Sonic and Shadow saved the Earth from the Finalhazard (the events of Sonic Adventure 2), The Crimson Wolf grew up playing video games while also listening to the fascinating (and not-so-fascinating) tales of Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog. Loves cosplaying so much and was a huge Final Fantasy VII and Persona 5 fan, he decided to model his hairstyle after Cloud Strife's hair (it kinda does look like it, doesn't it?) and a costume, mask, and gloves that resembles Joker's. Another thing to mention is that he was a bigger fan of Shadow than Sonic, and decided to wear Air Shoes in his honor.

16 years later, when Infinite terrorized the world and alongside Eggman (and also Sonic going missing and Shadow going rogue (exceptnotreallybecausethatwasafake)), the Wolf went into hiding to the Resistance base due to cowardice and fear (ironic, because Wolves are often known for their bravery). He eventually decided that hiding in fear will never win the war, and decided to stop hiding and help out the Resistance and rescue Sonic. Yadda yadda yadda you know the rest of the story blah blah blah Phantom Ruby prototype yak yak yak halted the illusion sun that Infinite summoned and beat Eggman alongside Classic and Modern Sonic. But before leaving to help out others in need in the world, he went up to his idol, Shadow the Hedgehog, and requested to become his discipline and learn his techniques (such as how to use the Air Shoes). Shadow on the other hand, laughed and refused to teach him, but did feel proud of him for defeating Infinite and Eggman alongside the two Sonics. The Wolf respected and understood his decision, and decided to leave.

ENTER THE BROWN RABBIT

Born around the time Eggman (or rather, Metal Sonic) declared to take over the world until Team Sonic, Dark, Rose, and Chaotix put the metallic madman in his place (by showing that creep THE REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK! Also, the events of Sonic Heroes) Unlike the Wolf, the Rabbit grew up sheltered with no video games to play or stories to listen to, but enjoyed dressing up and cosplaying as much as the Wolf did.

14 years later, due to living a life of boredom, she was quite...ECSTATIC at joining the Resistance to fight against Eggman to relieve her boredom. During her time at the resistance, she got know who Sonic and his friends were. Also during her time, she got to know the Wolf. The two spent their time with each over during breaks. Soon after the war was over (but the damage remained), instead of staying behind at the base, she wanted to go with the Wolf. The two fell in love together, then started to date each other as the pair set off to help others in need (then would eventually settle down once the entire world was back to itself rightful, peaceful state).
