Grademon; The Grade A Digimon.I had a lot of fun making this. First I made the line-art which took a while then I coloured it. I probably edit it more but its mostly done. Creative criticism is appreciated.

the cape could use some more depth, and i'm not sure about the glow around the image. but other than that, good work.

my only dislike is the glow you put around everything. I think since your doing cutouts just leave it as the icon or image and not have the glow. But the glow does add a different effect so nothing wrong with it in the same way!

Starting out, I like how you used colors that work well with one another; primary / split complimentary. It looks really.. superhero-y to me. I think that varying line weights would be good for this work in particular, and to show depth, I recommend using higher contrast, especially if he's made of metal or even plastic. The image looks rather flat, so contrast is key! I recommend adding depth to the cape by using 3 tints and 3 shades. I think the pose is really dynamic, and I see you're using a bit of perspective too, which really makes this image stand out.

Nice job on the perspective. I feel the shadows and highlights are a little subtle and hard to see, so I would just push them and make them bolder. Also, for the cape, adding folds and lines radiating from his back, will really help sell the fact that it is fabric. Other wise, this is a good piece.

What I like: Nice action pose and sense of perspective. I also like the glow around him.
Could be improved: There is nice shine on the armor but i think you could go with darker shading.

Maybe so, but certainly to a lesser extent. They never gave Grademon a chance to develop. It seems that all he really had the chance to do was die. He should have been given more time.

Hi man it has potential ^^
You should work with your shading thou a lot of the highlights on the cape are placed wrong. You should also consider trying to vary you line thickness more to create more depth in you picture.
The perspective also needs work, the lower half of his body doesn't seem to be connected right and there are a few issues with the arms.
Thats my critique, other then that I would like to say its not a bad picture but the shading is very distracting to me ^^

I like it, nicely done. I really like how it kinda feels like its jumping off the page. The left leg seems a bit to big even though it's closer. But all in all good job.The arms and swords turned out great and everything is nicely put together.
