Update! cropped. The painting part is pretty much there. I'm gonna work on the background next mostly. and some fun particle stuff. Overall, the process has been butter smooth.
When I'm finished with this fan art, I'm thinking about giving away prints by doing some sort of activity. I'll announce that sometime soon!!

I'm sorry but I have to say that there is something totally off about that neck. First it seems like it's curving kinda like a banana. While you can move your neck back and forth you cannot curve it like that. It's also placed too far back. It looks like her neck begins in the middle of her shoulderblades. It also seems strange that her right shoulder would go upwards when her chest area is relaxed. Like this it just looks like her shoulder has been dislocated or something.
I think your rendering is beautiful but I get the impression that you strive to make things look good rather than believeable. Does that make sense? I've seen so much beautifully done stuff from you so I am sure you can do anatomically correct bodies. If you did these things on purpose, don't mind me. I just wanna help.

I agree with this critique. His rendering is very well done but in this particular piece he chose to go for "anime proportions" instead. Which is an artistic choice but I agree that it did throw me off too at first.

She looks fantastic! did you intentionally age her just a bit? those longer bits of hair, and her horns are bigger than I noticed in the show. otherwise, ZOMG IT's PERFECT!
