i dont understand the appeal in drawing characters with 1: nipples in the wrong place, and 2: so scantily clad that you know the nipple is in the wrong place

You don't really see any nipples in Kill La Kill, even though you see practically every character (male and female) naked by the end.Β  No crotch details, either.Β  It's intentionally absurd.
And the lack of coverage is intentional, because her outfit is alive and might accidentally eat her if there's too much contact.
