Thanks for the comments! but this is one of the I don't give a too much fuck about practicality and realism. It's a stylized character from a fantasy video game sort of world. Over thinking tend to make designs super boring without attitude and flavor. Heels Heels Heels! if you don't like heels, please stop trying to explain how impractical it is because that's never the point of the art. Like I said, this is a form of art and design that is not suppose to exists in real world or possible in real world because it's a fantasy video game world. Nobody is bothered by how oversized that weapon is and yet their bothered by Heels!?
If you wanna become a professional artist or aspire to reach a high skill level of art and want to be able to create design and stylized art freely, then I advise you to STOP OVER THINKING about art.

I freaking love the lance concept in a Sci-fi esuqe setting because in a way if you can BS around the weight or Exo-suit fix it. It is Bad ass, powerful and logically quite a damn good weapon. And the more knightly armour design adds lovely flavour if one sticks around the whole Lance theme giving it a bit more rustic feel like it's the future but the tech is unrefined <3
I would love to see if you try more lance concepts because holy hell in sci-fi you can make them look awesome!!
however and i see now as i write that you have reacted to it. But this has been a popular topic on shoes in game design and general art for a few years now. And i feel like i have to say it sadly and i apologize for bringing it up again. Because i don't really mind it since it looks really good and i can see logic in it to on a certain level if i go trough that thought actually.
But heels has a tendency to remove a certain level or seriousness, bad ass level or general toughness look from a character. This has actually been brought up reviews even on some games where heels are prominent on female combatants. 0.o
Back to the fanboying though this one has me following right of the bat because its like its taken right out of my imagination <3

If I were to offer a small explanation, I think the reason people are focusing so much on the heels is for an aesthetic reason that they don't realize they're trying to voice, and not a scientific one: considering everything else about the design, heels take away from the "badass" aspect that the piece as a whole is portraying. That's why no one cares about the big gun as much, because THAT is badass... the heels aren't. However, I think some people get a little confused as to why they don't like the heels and they end up latching onto the much-misused practicality argument, instead of the one I just explained, and therefore you get the comments you seem to be getting about it. They simply don't realize the real reason they don't like them and are using another argument they hear in a lot of other places concerning this kind of debate.
But, there could just also be people who think the gun is more practical for someone in armor to have than the heels, I can't read minds.

The Monster Hunter video game series has a revolver-style gun-lance weapon class.

Ar tonelico 2 melody of Metafalica. Main guy uses a gun lance that also has a thruster in the back for speedy attacks. Also the tip can heat up with electrcity, and spin like a drill. ... Everything you asked for and more. Oh and it's the best game of all time. (In my opinion at least.) And yes, it's an RPG. ... Well sort of. You don't pick a character, or anything like that, but it has turn based combat and such.
