It's really hard to get fabric to get between boobs like that, and the fabric has to be really thin and tight in order to allow the nipples to stand out.
I think what CynicalEscapist is trying to say is that the outfit doesn't make sense because how it makes the boobs appear.

We don't know what the limits of science are in the future, so I def. won't say it's impossible.

Nipples are showing too prominently - even skin-tight suits won't do that. Shape is all wrong - boobs aren't water balloons they have weight. Breasts are shaped more like triangles than circles. The suit goes too far under the breasts, clothing won't surround a tit like it's a separate body part it will only rise and fall with the shape. Also with the clothing, breasts do not work as two separate entities with clothing. You would not be able to see two separate boobs even with skintight clothes, it wouldn't stick between the (rather small) gap between them.
Most of these things can be realised just by looking up pictures of women in clothing.

samus's zero suit actually is built to go between the breasts and not over them. it's not impossible for clothing like this to exist.

What makes you think he is going for realism? What's up with people criticising everything that's not realistic? There are other artists who draw so much more unrealistically they make this look like a normal drawning.

Well I'm sorry but that's just your opinion. Art is created by imagination. If you start restricting imagination simply to add logic to your drawings then that's no way to do it. Unless you really want to go for realism, which again, if you notice in his other pieces he really isn't going totally for realism.

The shape IS odd, but Samus's suit is likely designed specifically to look like that (with the two distinguishable breasts). It's not simply a skin-tight suit.

I have an idea of how it would work, but I'm terrible at explaining/describing things without a visual aid. The purpose could possible be to actually restrict the movement of the breasts though. Since Samus is often physically active, having those bouncing around on her chest would probably be a problem. (It might even hurt, but I'm a guy so idk.) Also keep in mind that in her universe there are likely other materials available for such use. People often assume that Samus's Zero Suit is made of latex...
