I'm right there with you. A skintight suit would not have nipples poking out like that. Unless she was FROZEN (which, that would friggin hurt to have them sticking out like that) then the suit should hold them down like a sports bra almost. I wish people would stop ruining their beautiful pieces with Samus nipples. *shakes head* Too bad.

It's so precious when a guy tries to explain female anatomy to me, a 28 year old woman. *rolls eyes* Nipples are only hard and erect when cold or aroused, or when you've been pulling and twisting on them for while, but they soften almost right away. And even then, a skintight suit would hold them in, like a BRA. A bra is a skintight garment that holds up breasts, and keeps nipples from poking out. Unless someone has silicone breasts shaped to have constantly poking out nipples. Real breasts are SOFT and are 99% fat tissue.
This artist desperately needs either a real breast to look at, or an anatomy class where the reference sheets arn't screen caps from hentai games. And that's not even starting on the fact that in her Zero Suit, Samus doesn't have boob socks, and her breasts are secured with no nipples sticking out. He was apparently paid to draw Zero Suit Samus, and that's not her Zero Suit. That's body paint.

It's fine if you have a problem with the art but you don't need to call the artist out on a personal level. It's not like the artist was being sexist, and its ridiculous how you got this hyped up over practically nothing.

You don't have to "roll eyes", the fact is even though you're a "woman" you obviously haven't worn bras much. Or only wear padded bras that cover you up. You ever worn lingerie that doesn't have support and is only a fabric bra with maybe a wire?
Is a bra "skin tight" like you say? That's pretty debatable especially when you compare it to latex or spandex. And especially depending on what size you get.
If you think about Samus, she's in a pretty advanced future with space flight and aliens.
And why would Samus even bother wearing a bra? It would be a hindrance for her.
If you've ever read Masasume Shirow's work, he pretty much came up with the skin tight suits for various reasons. Being able to have the body communicate with a suit of armor is a great example in this. The skin tight outfit is a second skin, transmitting electrical signals to the different parts of the suit, so you can have full control over the suit of armor you have covering you.
Heck, Samus transforms into a ball for crying out loud.
Shirow also used the skin tight thermoptic camouflage used in Ghost in the Shell. It was determined that the character Motoko Kusanagi had this and it was a more advanced form of camouflage compared to the traditional cloaks used in that series and also performed better than the armored vehicles.
I think you need to do your own research, or at the least, get an imagination. After all, science fiction has been proven to become science fact.
Take the woman who was on Deviant art cosplaying Cammy White. I have a feeling she wasn't wearing a bra so her nipples were showing for the world to see. She has since taken those photos down, but you can still find them online. Was she cold? Perhaps, but like I've said, nipples do show even when they're not cold. You're also going to see, in some cases, areolas. Women are built differently, they are not all like you.
Just because you're a "woman" doesn't make you 100% right. I think you need to look at other examples or talk to other women out there on their experiences.

And, how does that work exactly? I also suspect these types of sci-fi suits are very susceptible to electricity and EMP attacks making them not that useful. Being skin-tight doesn't allow for a lot of shielding, if any.

Just because you like this picture doesn't mean it is anatomically correct, even for its art style. And, your experience with your woman's nipples doesn't mean it is the norm or justifies the bad anatomy used in this picture. Now, I suggest you do your own research on how breasts work in the real world for it appears you are the one that needs to" talk to other women out there on their experiences".

Men are basically biologically made up to stare at boobs. It’s in our DNA. We have to scan for supple life giving breasts. It’s not really a personal thing, it’s not about us, it's about our potential future offspring. Not only that, we've all probably sucked on those things for a good part of our lives for nutrition.
So you should get off your high horse, breasts are objects of love and caring, and represent a time in people’s lives when life was easy. Perhaps we see all that in…big…beautiful breasts.
