Made this small "beginners" tutorial for a Xtrato.com user wo wanted to know the way to make 3d text in Photoshop.Maybe this helps some beginners on DA aswell and thats the reason i posted it.

i clicked on the layer, held alt + ctrl, and then pressed up and my laptops screen flipped XD easy to fix, but definately not making it 3D in any way. So i messed with the Blending Options and managed to create some interesting effects - though not like your 3D example D: any ideas on what i did wrong/ or should adjust?

excuse me, how to do like it is metalic of the most outer layer of the text? i done the 3D but i want it metalic colour like urs in tutorial, can teach?

CONTROL - ALT doesn't work for the 3D effect, not on Mac anyway. What is the menu alternative? Thanks

reflexion on the end better be goin down without rotate just ctrl + down arrow 5-8 times
