I am so sorry for the late reply, been busy with school and personal life.

i am very sure you can find someone or someones who are very willing to RP with you, and its a good way to learn how its done as well. Its like..telling a story but with multiple people not just one person.
I would just click on some of the different forums and see what people are roleplaying, because each has their own style of Roleplay.

I role played even before I used the Internet for things besides Neopets. I did it out loud with my sister, but we called it "talk play"

Well, I prefer my RPs long and involved if possible. I'll do anything from fantasy to sc-fi, though I prefer the former, I'm really up for anything as long as you can keep it somewhat clean (the key term being somewhat as I don't mind a mild amount of anything as long as it's all kept under control)

And I also Like to have long RPS too, the one that I had with that person lasted about a year and a few months.
But it was a Homestuck RP, so I'll try to make this one normal.

Roleplay is a very interesting way of creation and self-expression.
The minus side being the absence of legit original story-line roleplayers, who are interested in rps that take more than a day, include a lot of planning and are not one-liners.

I don't think it's a way of life. (Keep in mind I'm an avid roleplayer and have pages of text that my partner and I wrote.) I think it's a pastime, at least for me. We RP when we're bored and have nothing to do, or to expand upon our story ideas.
