Lawl, it can be. But the sad thing is, it can take over your life and consume you and your sense of reality.
I'm really against RPing now because I've seen a lot of friendships ruined because of it and have experienced that myself.

My husband got me into this and I have to say I was skeptical but I really enjoy it and the group we have right now is good....when we can find time to get together! I swear this campaign is taking forever.

lol. being a 'geek' isnt necessarily bad it is just about..timing. So few do it the pen and paper way, which I understand and dont at the same time. I think that would take to much time unless in an actual group and have a set time. I do my Roleplays via Chats or messages.

To say the least I fully agree that it is a 'way of life'. If you think about it, role playing is like writing your own novel or script. It happens to be what turned me into both a script writer for games and published author.
I'm probably taking it a bit out of context, but this stamp is quite true. Which I had found it when it was originally posted in '06!

Roleplay has helped me not quite the way it has you but still helped me change. Helped me find my best friend/sister almost.. of 9 years I believe.. Helped me find my loopy but fantastic anime friends that I would be stuck at home bored.. wthout. And we write scripts for mni webisodes we do XD.
also it added to my writing skills as well. Yay for A in english lol.
