Description Created as a project for an art class, this surreal scene brings out many textures. The piece comes alive through the formations upon the planetoids, as well as the vine-like lifeform growing amidst the void. This is one of my favorites.

The substrate is unbleached paper (lt. gray/brown), the medium is ultra-fine sharpie permanent marker in the foreground, marks-a-lot for the background. The two inks allow a slightly copper-hued medium for the forground texturing, and a distinctly void-black background. This one took me a few days, and about 4 markers to complete, the original is 12"x18". This scan is of the upper right portion of 8.5x11"

Brilliant! Especially when you view it from far away, it comes together perfectly.
