Personally I hate spiders, and sadly my reaction to them is not all that dissimilar.
Here's another drawing I started last year and took forever to finish. I kept putting it to the side because I couldn't get the background looking just the way I wanted. I'm still not totally happy with the background but I don't want to spend another six months of on again off again drawing, I've got a backlog of drawings I need to finish. I kept coming back to this one because I like the character I came up with and I decided to name her Maya. I'd like to use her in this project I have in mind, if I can ever get off my lazy but and get started on it.
