I like the helm :3 Looks realy nice ^^ And the armor overall 
And the colour scheme is nice. Cant go wrong with silver + red
But I have a quesion... is she some kid or... ? Since the head is way too big for an adult oO So either she is really small (like... 145-150 cm or below) or just a preteen girl. Well if it was intentional, then ok, just wanted to say it
And pls... dont use the Burn tool to shade T_T It makes really funny shadows that look flat + the burn tool has a nasty habit to change the colours attributes too. Thats why her right feet looks a bit odd since the shadow is on a strange place + it looks flat, popping it out of 3D.

Haha yeah I can see your point about the dodge/burn tool. At the time I did this (and a few others) it was something new I was experimenting with. Even now there's still lots of tools and techniques I'm playing around with to learn Photoshop. I think with my recent move into digital painting I've learned a few things that will entirely replace dodge/burn in the way I had used it here.
As for the helmet, I never really considered it was too big. It was intentionally made to look larger than her head. But my reason behind that was to imply room for hardware and tech.. like a mecha space suit. I didn't really follow that design concept through the entire outfit though so I understand where the characters age would be confusing. Generally speaking, I think the majority of the characters I draw are targeted to be somewhere between 20-25. Unless I have a set age I'm aiming for, I seldom even think of it when I start a project. With the Crimson Huntress, I had absolutely no plan or design in mind when I sat down to draw. She simply came out of the page - so to speak. So there was, and still is no age or race behind that costume except for the one you imagine.

Amazing and sexy at the same time. Love the boot idea, as well as the heels. Where the heck did you get the idea for the helmet and armor? You said it was inspired, but the helmet looks completely new, as does the armor.

A small part of the armor design is inspired by a video promoting the Bounty Hunter class from the game Star Wars The Old Republic. The helmet specifically was my own spin on combining a Clone trooper and Boba Fetts helm. Originally I was going to go with an olive green but I thought it looked too much like a Fett rip-off... lol The rest is pretty much my own design, although I do tend to draw a lot from things I've seen in anime and other games as well.
