this is my desktop cube, i have some windows and some linux screenshots up, this is my heavily modded windoze boot, its in spinning effect, with the cube there... right... and well, yeah, i have 6 desktops, one on each side of the cube, where i can have different things running, to stay organized that way, yanno?this is originally made for linux, called xgl, compiz, and beryl are all names for the original/recent linux 3d desktop effects... very cool. i have my windows booted up here, though i really like to run linux instead, i run both for now, soon i will probably only run linux, maybe not entirely too soon, but, whenever i upgrade my laptop harddrive, i will be running primarily linux... and hack photoshop into it, and other windoze/mac only apps, i might want, will get hacked into it aswell.... and then i will be god... woo .... hoo?
check out youtubes for "compiz" or "beryl" and you'll see some neat high tech stuff that you might or might not have ever seen before.

are you implying that i am stupid or something? for one, this screenshot of a compiz-like cube desktop effect is from my customized windoze os... i'm assuming your not THAT stupid and you knew that... but this means that you must have read my comments beneath my submission... i find it offensive the way your comment suggests that i am too dumb to be able to operate linux effectively... it's really not that difficult if you're not illiterate, and can stand to learn, but its infact quite enjoyable when you enjoy to learn and enjoy technology like i do...
now, i'm saying this because you said some dumb comment about switching back to windows... i don't know whats with these idiotic remarks from people who use windows that can't operate linux, a more difficult to understand operating system... it's infact far superior to windows, and i am indeed quite a happy nix user... if you simply feel a need to act like some kind of smug prick, like you are so sure that i would not be able to continue to run linux for any substantial period of time because you think m$ windows is better, or you naively think that everyone who tries it is going to hate it as much as you did, then you are just that...
i use lots of operating systems, and yes, linux, on the regular... and you know what, i like it better than windows, and i can operate it, and it functions flawlessly, more than you can likely even say about your malware and spyware infested porn-bot of a windoze machine i'm sure...
so next time, before you tell someone to start a count from the present moment, incrementing daily from then until forever... maybe you should consider that you might not have any reason to come off as being such a smug prick who's naive, pathetic and the type of person who can't learn anything new unless microsoft or adobe endorse it... ?
now, i know you're probably going to say, i've overreacted, and whatnot, but before you do, i just wanted to say, screw windoze! the operating system in which a fresh OS install on a machine can be rendered useless potentially from simply surfing the internet browser to a website... and screw paying big bucks for a copy and license to such a P.O.S.O.S. of such epically failed proportion.
it sucks, plain and simple. don't dis what you will never be able to understand... and if you aren't dissin' *nix... well then, you were dissin' me... and for that, again, you are a smug prick.
