Description
The Death card symbolizes change, metamorphosis. Who better to represent this in the Bleach universe other than Uryu?From the beginning into the Hueco Mundo arc, Ishida's character transforms several times, his Quincy powers evolving with him.
The cross was a pain. Orginally I drew it with six points instead of the five (what was I thinking?!) and had to manipulate it in PS as a result. It doesn't look bad, and the position is pretty much the way I wanted it.
I'm using a new photo pencil now too...much better than trying to erase pencil!

woah...how do you do italics?

It's a little html code I remember... first put <, then i and another > so that together it looks like this < i > (but no spaces). Write what you want to have in italics and when you're done you have to end your html with a forward slash so it looks like this < /i > (that lets the computer know you're done italicizing or it'll keep going! 
Example;
< i > Uryuu rocks! < /i >
Take out spaces and...
Uryuu rocks!
There's other ones too. Using 'u' intead of 'i' in the brackets will underline and 'b' will bold face type. There are more, but I'd have to look them up.

I can't even tell there was a 6th point at all! Nice fix. The perspective on this rocks too. Plus, I would have never known the Death card symbolized metamorphosis if you hadn't said as much. I would have been so confused!!

I was the same way with the Death card until I looked it up - I was figuring Aizen or Gin would be right for the description. Uryu was definitely better by definition. What better way to show the Quincy love than with the coolest sounding card of the lot?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking at first too, then I read the explanation. It all makes sense now! Uryu was definitely a good pick for it, Chad could have been as well. His abilities have gone through a few changes too. (he certainly looks cooler now!)

Once I read The Hanged Man description, Chad had to be that card (I couldn't resist the fact that he would be a hanging Chad, either) XD

Me too, it's nice to see he's able to hold his own now. The poor thing was getting owned up on for a while. HAHA Yeah, go figure huh? But Chad was never the aggressive type, so it makes sense that he was holding back that ability subconsciously.

Yeah, poor Uryu. The Bount arc really pwned him - it was painful to watch.
The Hanged Man card is more reserved. It revolves around patience, passivity, and inner harmony, but it also involves sacrifice, surrendering, and acceptance; with what Chad is learning about himself in Hueco Mundo, I believe that this represents him best. There are other points too; I'll probably post the whole definition when I get the sketch done so it all makes sense.

Oh that sounds PERFECT for Chad!! Much better than the Death card, good call. I love how you're doing the Tarot set for the Bleach cast. It was a really good idea, you're doing a superb job of it!
