The chewing on pencils or the long hours studying? It's worse when you're trying to reconcile "what you know was left out of the chapter" with "what was just rephrased for no advantages" in a bad textbook.

I´m taking it simpler - I meant that, when I need to proofread my student´s composition´s homeworks... I find things that I barely can get through( a matter they aren´t used to read anything at all, so they can´t figure out a maening set of a few sentences...
