Originally hailing from a life of comfort and pleasure, Cosette is the third daughter born of Dragon King Vinmis. Being third, she was predestined to assume a place within the militaries of Dwi Terminus, while her older sisters were both tasked with positions in government and that of religious significance respectively. However, when the forces of the interdimentional, human orginization, The Alignment, began operating within the borders of Dwi, King Vinmis saw a chance to spread the influence of his bloodline and formed an accord of cooperation. The foremost prerequisite of the pact was the induction of Cosette into The Alignment's paramilitary force, The Security Division. After a reluctant agreement, the princess was then place on a probationary status within Security, Observation and Reconnaissance Team 13 - Fireteam Vixen.

Since her enlistment, Cosette has become very popular among the citizens of The Alignment as well as her potential teammates. Because of her kind and innocent nature, she has become sort of a mascot for Team 13, much to the chagrin of Vitani and, to a lesser extent, Valencia, whom wish to be regarded with solemn respect rather than that type of girlish adoration. Though this fact somewhat hinders her relationships with the two, she is still cared for and supported by her squadmates. As it stands, Valencia has even volunteered to take on Cosette as her apprentice and has began instructing her in the art of staff wielding.
