Description Playing around with the new Genesis 3 model.  Posing her was definitely easier than with the Genesis 2s.

The costume is by Terrymcg with some texture, color, and fit adjustments done by me.  The lights are a preset Iray lighting rig.

The truck is a FT30 with a rusty material applied.  I thought it looked a lot like the one Lynda Carter stopped in the television show.  I couldn't find a good match for the car on the left unfortunately, so I used the Prince prop with a maroon color applied.

Clipping issues were taken care of in post work using GIMP.  I also softened the image and tweaked some colors through the post work process as well.

Overall I liked the resulting effect.  It's definitely a big improvement over my first image 2 years ago.  Hehe.

Looks nice. Is is hard to get V4 things to work with G3?

The auto-fit didn't work properly when I tried to place the V4 outfits to the V7(G3) model.  The outfit was unsupported for a conversion to Genesis 3 and the result was horrible.

And like other auto-fitted outfits, you sometimes loose the ability to adjust the outfit with fine-tuned adjustments.

I used a trick I found early on though.  When I couldn't properly fit some outfits to a G2, I would use a intermediary model like a Genesis first.

In this case, I loaded a V6(G2) character into the scene and made her invisible.  I fitted all the the costumes to her first, then auto-fit them onto the V7(G3) model.  It worked a lot better.

There were some issues still like the area between her legs, but the result was still manageable.

That said, I would recommend making all the physical alterations to the model first (like muscle-tone and posing) before doing an two-stage auto-fit.  You lose a lot of flexibility once inherent in the outfit.

I had been really thinking about changing to a newer version of Victoria, like V7...but I have this huge library of V4 things and I do not see a huge enough different between V4 and V7 to start all over. Thank you for taking the time to reply. It sounds..not simple...

Yeah.  I would recommend getting Victoria 6 first (especially when she goes on sale again).

The auto-fit between the two versions is much easier, depending on what you use for rendering.  I started with Daz 3D Studio 4.7 and am now using 4.9.  The auto-fit is pretty much automatic for me now and works okay most of the time.  Just the tweaks here and there and the occasional two-step process for some outfits (those with bodysuits).

I've been meaning to test saving off costumes after auto-fitting and adjusting, to see if it will keep all the adjustments I've made.  I thinking it will save me having to reset it every time.  Hehe.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do and feel free to send me questions if you need to.

Zeta.

Thank you.  I went for a more pin-up look.

In the still image that inspired this render, Lynda Carter had her head down and to the our right, so you couldn't see her face.  I was going to do that, but I didn't like the result.  I also tried gritting her teeth, but that didn't look very good either.  I don't think two vehicles would have made Wonder Woman struggle too much, so the gritting looked a bit weird.  Maybe if she were holding back several powerful tanks.

yeah, teeth not gritted is one of the things that make it imo
