Kyohei is home!!!! I sent him back to Iplehouse to have his mold recast and he is back for good!!! The marvellous thing about Iple is that they gave him the same faceup that I put on him!! So happy!!! Just in time for the festive celebration with his master Kenji.Hahahah~ I cut him a new wig and he is now looking much refresh and young!! I think he is looking much younger than Kenji!!! XDD (not suppose to)... well well...XD

I squee when I saw him from the Iplehouse package because his faceup is so close to the one I applied on him. At least something off my mind. The only thing is his skin tone (though is the original LT tone) but is not the same Kyohei tone which I preferred (after I sanded him). His earlier skin tone suit the grey hair better. So, I decided to cut him a sleek hair wig and indeed it suits the current Kyohei better. The wig was rather messy and spikey and was one of 'to-dispose' items. But I'm glad that it is now something usable.

and in my experience, my only doll is from Iple and I asked them for a custom face up and they did pretty well *nodsnods*
although I already want to be a little bolder and send her away for a more... wild face up I guess XD, but that will be when I save more money lol
but again, congrats, he really looks good and your cutting hair skills are awesome! let me know if I can mail you a wig to get a hair cut

and yes... been thinking about it for a couple of months... she looks pretty, but she needs a little more wild/gypsy look... but... again, no money, so not right now XD
and I have a short wig, I like it, but I think it could look better with a little cut here and there, I just don't dare do it xD

Though took you a while, but you are still sharp to spot him (a Tedros)! >< I think it could be the faceup and also the camera angle, which camouflage the Tedros traits. Most Tedros(es) are usually with beard and hence a 'clean' face Tedros is unfamiliar.

I think it's that exactly *laughs* I find the cleeve in Tedros chin to very dominant and without beard it usually stands out even more. But the angle, light and overall feel of the picture just made that disappear x3 I was seriously confused for so long, at first thought it was your Chase but the names did not line up *lol* So I kept on puzzling it out x3

No, I didn't make the shirt. I got it from Iplehouse. I trimmed an ugly, fluffy fur wig (a wrong buy) to give him a sleek, clean look. I left the sides and back a little longer for a hip look.
Hehehe~ I was trying to remove his official makeup which I didn't like, and the removal solution I used reacted badly on tanned skin dolls. Resulting discolouration. In attempt to salvage him, I sanded the whole face (the end result look like this [link] ). He became a little fairer but still darker than Iplehouse real skin. In fact, I love the new skin colour. However, as time goes by, the remedy that I applied on him faded and the fine lines and discolouration started to surface. It wasn't obvious in photos but I felt so bad that I felt I must treat it. This is the last photos on him before I sent him. [link] . Actually, I am still trying to get used to his skin colour. Makeup-wise, he is Kyohei! ><

Wow you've really had an adventure with him hm? Still I really admire you for being able to solve the problem of his skincolour so well by yourself. I'm glad they now gave him the face up you truly wanted so you don't need to go through all that again. XD
You are so good with wigs! I've tried making furwigs, but somehow they always look like 'fur hats'. Geez I wig I bought I totally messed it up by cutting it and another I messed up by frying the curls out hahaha I'm such a fool when it comes to wigs. XD

At birth, Kyohei's hair is black. His hair started turn grey rapidly when he was seperated with Kenji for a long time to a very far place. Because in Kitsune's clan, they kept slaves by feeding blood (for control). Once the slaves decided to run away from the masters, they will age rapidly and die. So, Kenji happened to save Kyohei with his blood but the side effect is, he is also bonded to Kenji by this curse. Kyohei wanted revenge for his family and attempted assassination to Kenji many times, causing the latter very angry and opened a dimension where he deserted Kyohei there. Yes, I finally set my heart for his recast. The mess that I did on his head and somehow the flaws were getting more and more obvious (the fine lines and the discolouration). I think the remedy that did on him only have a temp effect. It is after much thoughts and advices from others that I decided to do it. I know he could turn out very different because iplehouse doesn't allow custom makeup and each artist has his own style, etc. So, I am so so grateful iple gave him back the kyohei's look (very close). With the new wig, he is looking very different. I love iple guys too!! And how I wish i could own each of every sculpt. XD
