Overdue picture!! >,<My very first BJD! Yes, Nigel is still with me! XD
I love that he always have this mysterious aura around him. Like he is always deep in thought, yet no one can guess what is on his mind.
I hardly had any good photo on him because of the background. To find those that matches his aura is just hard to find. But I'm glad that this place that I went with Shiori turns out good!
Sigh, I really missed all the good dolly funs we had. Those I would call pure, sincere dolly funs where I can totally feel at ease need not worry about anything. Also, I miss you! My friends here! Some I can really talk heart to heart with even we have not meet up.

I was caught in a game event! (/.\) ...Left with one more sword to go but am giving it up already because it seems impossible even I had about 250 boss node hits. Since the Game Master felt I have collected enough swords and refuses to give me Akashi, there is nothing I can do too. Now that, my gaming side more or less has matured...meaning, having accomplished much, I shall focus more on my BJDs now~ LOL~

You are incredible! You are long in the hobby but you never boost about it. I almost forgot you are one of the pioneer collectors! This encourages me to stay on this hobby no matter how busy I am. I must admit I'm getting more busy nowadays and I might never have that kind of time in the past to do my dolly stuff.

Yeah, it's going to be a long leveling session for me. ><; For the sword hunt, I only planned to get Akashi because I already had Hakata from the previous event and my swords weren't leveled high enough to fight map 4, so Nihongou was out of the question. I was happy I accidentally got Urashima though. ;v; It was fun though. ^^
Were you able to get the swords you hoped for?

I aimed to get (in sequence) Nihongou, Nagasone, Akashi, Hirano. I got the first 2 swords pretty fast and was struck at the 3rd one for the rest of the weeks. And Hirano was an accident when I was doing the daily smithing for resources during the event period. So, I'm grateful of what I have found in that event. I read that quite a few got all the rare swords!!
Akashi at normal map 6-2 is pretty hard to get. >,< My captains keep diverting going elsewhere except meeting the boss node. lol~

I'm really happy about it because the Kebiishi are so hard. ;v; It wasn't planned, but I'm glad I have him now.
That's so awesome! 8D I read that a lot of people were having trouble getting Nihongou. You got 3 out of the 4, that's good! Congrats! 8D I accidentally smithed Uguisumaru, so it's awesome that you got Hirano. XD This was a fun event. ^^
I'm going to have to level up more. I didn't know Akashi was obtainable in story mode. I haven't made it to map 6 yet, but I can wait. I'm just glad it's still possible to get him. ;w; You'll be able to get Akashi soon. Just have to keep going. ^^

And yes, very long time. I can't believe that I'm in the hobby for more than 5 years. I still feel new! Maybe because there are still many things to do with these resin beings till I don't think I have kept them for so long! XD
The resin story! lol~ Can be dangerous for the purse. I would want to put those side characters in doll form. One good example is Shiraga and Miyazaki. >,<
Kenji and Kyohei are suppose to be more main characters here. But, I somehow feel that the side characters have overshine the main...*faint*

5 years is a long time! My Angel has also been with me for almost 5 years (in October), and I remember the day when I got him as if it was yesterday. I had been dreaming of owning him for so long, and when I got the chance of buying him second hand, I just went for it. And I haven't regretted it for a second! I love him as much now as I did then.

Nigel is a limited mold too. That time, I was a newbie and faceup is a big thing to me. Hence, I was buying it because of his faceup too! XD
Some of the doll collectors I have come to know, do not own their first doll anymore. That I can understand too. Some may not have seen enough to decide the style they want for their dolls. So, later part, they sell them away and get into their right doll line.

Actually Angel wasn't my very first doll, he was my second. My first doll was a Dollzone Wing, but I never got this loving feeling about him. I was new to this hobby and didn't really know how to do this. I am a member of a norwegian doll site, and one of the members is a dealer for Dollzone here in Norway, so I bought my doll trough her.
I guess he wasn't the doll I really wanted, so it wasn't really a loss when I sold him. So I almost think of Angel as my first!

Well, in that case I don't know who is my first love, Nigel or Aleron. Because both are bought almost the same time. I ordered Aleron but Nigel (2nd purchase) arrived first! Lol~
I thought maybe Aleron at first since I chose to buy him over NIgel. but Nigel grew on me almost immediately when I received him. It is complicated. LOL~
