~3 hours work. Ancient Apparition from Dota2!One of the most underplayed and under-appreciated heroes, but I just really love his skillset.
Figure for the last few drawings I keep doing lightning, so gonna do some ice this time. Drawing a block of animated ice is harder than I thought...
Once again experimenting with my artstyle. I'm really liking this current style, it characterizes my tendency to make everything sharp and jagged, and provides high degree of contrast. This also translates the sketch directly into lineart, cutting work time in half.
Ancient Apparition in his Dota 2 design, hero belongs to Valve.

Cold to look at and perhaps even more then that, dwelling within the dark with only the shine of his or its body to show the slightest glint of light.....kinda like Kyurem

Yeah, even though you say it's sketchy, I think it looks pretty clean. The high contrast hides the jagged lineart.

now now...my lineart only looks clean because I work at a higher resolution and scale down. sshhh...don't tell anybody how much I warp with photoshop
