I am actually considering the idea of reading the Light Novel Series from where
the anime left off at since I doubt they will give this show another season like
say "My Hero Academia"

manga "spin offs"? all rezero manga are cannon, but just drawn by different artists. but the manga is wayyy behind. it just finished the "from zero" episode. if you want to read the light novel translations the best one is from "translationchicken" or the "holychicken". he has translated not only where the anime left off, but also the newest chapters from the web novel, which is currently on arc 6. but yea just google "translationchicken" and you can read everything for free.
