Description
Remi was on top of the ring, dressed in his usual boxing outfit.
He was in his corner, looking at the opposite corner. There was that boy with white hair who was throwing punches in the air.

That boy's name was Alex and he belonged to a different gym than Remi's. Despite being the same age, anyone could tell that this boy knew a lot more about boxing than Remi who, by that point, had barely been training for about 3 months.

Remi was a little scared, it would be his first fight outside of sparring against someone. Worse, someone who really did not seem to like him much or who, at least with him, was very cold.

Still, Remi wasn't going to back down. Not that he felt confident but, rather, he felt the support of his sister and didn't want to disappoint her

The fight only lasted 2 rounds.
Remi didn't stand a chance against someone faster, stronger, more experienced and more skilled than him.

Midway through the second round, Remi was knocked out with a good hook to the cheek, sending him to sleep.

A little later, he woke up to see that all the other fights had already passed.

Depressed, Remi wanted to escape from the gym only to be stopped by Aki who tried to comfort him

"Aren't you ... disappointed?" Remi asked through tears "I ... didn't have a chance ..."
Aki looked at him with compassionate eyes and gently patted his head, pulling out a handkerchief to wipe his tears

"Of course not silly, I will never be disappointed" said Aki smiling at him before giving him a hug "On the contrary, I am very proud of you. Performance is important, yes .. but you know what is more important? Courage. I am proud that you didn't run away or that you refused to have this fight. I'm proud because you took the most important step for a boxer: you entered the ring"

Remi began to calm down, taking her hug and staying with her for quite some time.

"Thanks ... but now what?"
"Well, you only have one thing left: keep training" Aki said, separating a little from him, putting her hands on Remi's shoulders "Take this experience, learn from it and move on, okay?"
"Yes..I will" said Remi a little more determined "I .. will not lose like this again"

Aki smiled at him a bit before picking him up, pulling him onto her back.
"Well now we have to rest" said Aki walking "Tomorrow we will start training again"

"Of course!" He said raising an arm, a little motivated.
