When I thought about it, the stalker-Soul-fan-and-Maaka-hater was right. Maaka isn't suited for Soul. She obviously doesn't know what scythes are for oXoI'd be a bigger Soul Eater fan, but I have trouble getting into a world that I don't understand. Lots of stuff has been cleared up after I watched some of the anime and Soul Eater Not helps a lot too, so I think I appreciate the series a lot more now.
It's like... Why are there these people that can turn into weapons... How does that even transfer to the next gen? Why weapons? Scythes aren't weapons. So maybe there's someone who can turn into a chair somewhere.
...Which reminded me of a fan character idea I had. OMG I gotta draw it XD

I do NOT want a chair....as a weapon....and scythes ARE weapons!!! The knife wasn't origionally used for killing!

A reply to your little note up there on why they tranform into weapons and maybe there's someone who can turn into a chair... I once, back a few months ago, envisioned a cleaner supply meister. Honestly dunno why, but it was pretty weird and I almost used the idea for a few different things.
Anyways, this is really cute. Although I don't know which way you're referring to use a scythe, I definitely know that the manga (and anime) wouldn't be where it currently is if she used Soul the way you're supposed to (too much gore= publisher decides not to publish--- this was actually a similiar conflict with another manga--- and the old, old, OLD way of using it to mow a lawn... weird and boring.).
