A silly thing. Because in all the crossovers between Luffy and other protagonists I've seen, no one looks anywhere near as cool as him in THE VEST.Thinking about it, it's actually the strawhat that looks very silly on the other shounen heroes.

The funny thing is up until recently I thought the vest was just something that fit his style but then someone pointed something out to me. If Luffy had something else on(t-shirt, hoodie, jacket or something closed with sleeves) he would tear it up every time he used his powers especially gear third.
