Description
-----Personal Log of CT 4397
(Dated three hours prior to landing on Umbara)
“Untitled”
I’m unsure what sort of preface is fitting for a log of this nature, so I’ll start with an brief introduction and how this book came to be in my possession.
I am a clone, one of the millions created in the image of the bounty hunter Jango Fett to serve the Galactic Republic.
Unlike the rest of my squad, I have yet to earn a name of qualitative rather than quantitative
nature. Since joining the 501st I’ve been told this is common, and that soon enough a fitting title will reveal
itself.
A brother who shipped out a year before myself confided in me that he too had gone nameless until weeks after leaving Kamino.
Commander Tano, upon hearing his plight, promptly dubbed him “Lefty” and to this day he hasn’t a clue as to why.
With my luck, I’ll become “Righty,” so I’ll gladly stick to “rookie” and “kid” until I find my place.
This book was presented to me upon my deployment for disclosure of personal thoughts and reflection,
along with these words:
“Your life is like this book. The pages
are finite but have infinite potential.
In the end it is the content and not
the pages that matter.
Make every page count.”
I just hope my pages don’t run out before I’ve accomplished anything.

Amen to that! Inspiration can be rather painful and inconvenient at times.
I was under the impression that the body glove was in two pieces, seeing as how in the episode "The Deserter" when Captain Rex gets shot and wakes up after they've used a glorified band-aid to remedy the situation he's only wearing the lower portion of the body suit.
Even if it's supposed to be one piece as you said, for first aid purposes they probably decided to cut off the top portion like they do in the emergency room to assess and access the shrapnel wound without further aggravating it.
Questions/critique are welcomed at any time! ^_^
I believe decisive lighting choices are the key to creating a believable and contextually relevant atmosphere.
Aye, the anatomy was tedious -- it's one thing to draw muscles, it's another to render, add pigment, texture, and a cohesive light source. Turned out better than I thought it was going to, so I'm happy.

Oh yes... right now my back is screaming at me ;___; but then again, I slept funny, haha! So that may be why... but still, there's that moment when you sit up from drawing for an hour or so and you're like '>___o;; ow!' haha!
Yeah I thought that too because in some cases you see it and it's like a full body leotard or something and then other times it's a two piece (definite in seeing the seam at the bottom). I guess there's a couple versions? Maybe one for the phase of armour? Either way, I get what you mean. No doubt they'd of cut the suit to get to the flesh/wound(s).
Awesome! I can't honestly give a critique really, haha! It was just a question because I was curious :3 Thank you for answering though!
Muscles are always my favourite part of a drawing ;___; particularly with male bodies because the muscles can be well defined without being too crazy with it, unlike females where if you amp up their musculature people assume steroids or something, hurhur.
You did really well here with atmosphere and lighting which really gives this piece a good look and composition
As you should be! This is a brilliant piece I must say! Makes me wish I could offer up a trade or a commission soon haha, but I have work (too much work) and no money to spare :C
Ah well, one day, eh?
Keep up the awesome work

From what I've read in the RC novels, you're right about the bodysuit. They actually come apart in sections. I'd imagine the arms and legs come off in several parts aside from the top and bottom half.
In the clone wars series, their bodysuits puzzle me... In armor, they appear to be black, but then out of armor, they seem to be gray and in two sections, a top and a bottom. The top includes the gloves too.
But seeing as they need these suits to be sealed during combat, a one piece with easily sealed parts suit seems more logical, than a shirt and pants sort of thing. Imagine if the shirt part started rolling up and getting all bunched up while the trooper was fighting? XD
