Description
Here's my entry for 's Create a Kaiju Contest. The silhouettes used for size comparisons are the Leaning Tower of Piza (height) and the White House (wingspan).

Name: Viola Morta (Violet Death)
Size: 70 meters high, 110 meters long (from beak to tail), and a 210 meter wingspan.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Origin: Alien assimilator that crashlanded on Earth 80 million years ago
Inspiration: Thanator (hexapodal nature), Jirass (frill), King Ghidorah (being naturally trapped deep underground), Otachi (wing design, strange tongue-like organ)
History: Viola Morta was first sighted thousands of feet under Rome, covered in a mass of tentacles. Something the scientists noted was that the tendrils seemed to slowly be swalled by something inside. 5 months later, the city was bombed by Allied forces during World War II. During the air raid, a violet pterosaur-like creature bursted from the ground. The giant examined the area briefly before beign targeted by the aircrafts above. Angered, the purple monstrosity uses its middle arms to launch itself into the air. As the bombers fly closer, membranes unfolded on the creature's arms. Suddenly, bright yellow lasers shot out from each of its 6 eyes, obliterating most of the planes. The remaining bombers were taken down by the maw of the beast. As the downed aircraft plummet to the city ground, the abnormal creature ran away. In 1999, decades after the war ended, the strange colossus reappeared in Milan. As the Italian Armed Forces rained fire on the beast, it reared up on its hind legs and took off. The army shot at it from below, only to be hit by optical photon rays. Eventually, a well-placed bomb grounds the creature (now named Viola Morta), leaving it vulnerable to tanks and soldiers. As the army gets closer and closer, the wounded creature's jaw unhinges. Out of its widened maw wriggles out a countless amount of slimy, fleshy tendrils. The "tongues" lash out and ensnare helpless soldiers, dragging them to its toothy mouth. Viola Morta starts walking towards the military, smacking tanks aside and snatching up armymen and civilians alike. A nuke sent by the US hits Milan, rendering the city destroyed and the monster MIA. Nothing has been seen of it since.
Abilities: Viola Morta has intense physical strength, being able to smash tanks to giant metal pancakes with its wing-arms and snap another lifeform in half in its beak. The purple monster also has many tongue-like organs that can snatch up prey and shove them in its maw. Viola can take flight by unfolding its arm's membranes and using said arms to fling itself to the sky. Finally, it can fire yellow photon rays from each of its eyes.

NOTE: It is undecided if I will include this in any of my stories (although if I do, it would definitely fit right in alongside Venothrax).
