It's November 3rd, 2020. There's about a 0.000001% chance you don't know what that means. Anyways, this is one of two anniversary thingies I'll be doing today. While my last Godzilla Day deviation was pretty cliche and overdone, I decided to do something different today. The concept here was to portray the first iteration of Godzilla and the last (as of now) iteration of Godzilla. You may be wondering why the lef one doesn't look like ShodaiGoji at all. That's because he wasn't the first iteration. I'm not talking first suit, I'm talking first concept.
That's right, that octopus is the earliest draft of the 66-year-old monster that I know of.

The other guy is (of course) GyuraGoji/SingularGoji/PointGoji/GhibliGoji/etcetera from Godzilla Singular point. I think I screwed up his neck but that's about it. Also, I had to remake the octopus Godzilla after drawing GyuraGoji. The (in my opinion, genius) tail/tentacle juxtaposition was one of the reasons I decided to do that. I don't have much else to say other than to celebrate the birthday of our favorite radioactive reptile and wait for the second part of my Godzilla 66th aniversary duology... or remind me if I forget to do it in time.
