This picture is big, but really big (it is 7104 pixels long on 3056 pixels wide), so I advice you to download it on its maximum resolution if you want to read the names correctly.
This is a size chart of all of the animals of an adventure that I make in SPORE (which is nammed "The giants of the delta") that takes place in a delta in North Africa. For the moment, I have only placed them and fix the stats, I haven't yet been set the infos or fix the artificial intelligence of all the fellas (I just fixed the IA of the Spinosaurids).
Uh, about the species, there is some of them that I didn't placed, as the Kaprosuchus example because its size puts it in the middle of the very annoying gap between the normal-sized creatures and epic-sized creatures (well, this is also the case of the Ouranosaurs, the Neoceratodus, the Mawsonia, the Rugops and the Kryptops but them it doesn't really bother me to see them as epics), or Deltadromeus, because, I just don't wanted to place it.
At first I wanted to put only the animals that have been discovered in the Kem Kem beds, but eventually I put some of them that come from other geological formations, sometimes separated by several million years.
Some animals are not 100% accurate (they are some of them who are rather bizarre), but here, it's the limitations of the creature editor, and complexity that you should blame.
I also placed the captain of this adventure at the bottom right to compare its size to that of other animals in the adventure.
PS: this adventure features the first reconstructions of Hamadachelys escuilliei, Simoliophis rochebrunei, Serratolamna amonensis and of the probable Tegana Dromaeosaurid on deviantART, of course, their appearance are rather speculative, especially concerning the Raptor.
PPS: You can wonder why there is no walking version of the Siroccopteryx while there is one for the Alanqa, it's because the landed Siroccopteryx that I made is glitched, when I put it on the adventure, most of my creatures (including this Siroccopteryx) have only one color without texture and shadows, so it's relucantly that I had to remove it.
PPPS (yeah): For those who have any comments about the size of some of the animals, thank you to keep them for yourself ...

Are you releasing these? Have they been released? Where can they be found!?

Nope, I didn't released it yet, like a lot of things that I should put on the net, the adventure itself is pretty much finished, but I have to update the models of the critters, and put some descriptions of the animals or the locations.

(How many Ps are you going to add????)

These are great, ignoring useless nitpicks like creatures being half a foot too big, or too small, and stuff. Are the sails of Spinosaurus made with Creepy/Cute parts?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ZeWqt In reply to randomdinos [2014-02-06 01:05:21 +0000 UTC]

First, thank you for the comment.
Actually, the sizes of these creatures are close to the ones that you can find on the adventures, the system of size in SPORE GA is not the best that you can find (I mainly think about this FUCKING gap between the normal-sized creatures and the epic-ized ones and the fact that the babies have ridiculously big eyes) and I think the Spinosaurus may be shorter than most people think it is for this reason that it has roughly the size of the Carcharodontosaurus. And there is no creatures on this adventure that has CC parts, I prefer to not use Creepy & Cute since not everybody have it, and also because I couldn't share my CC stuff when I was on Spore.com.
And then, what does "PS" means?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

randomdinos In reply to ZeWqt [2014-02-06 09:14:16 +0000 UTC]

Indeed, I once had GA for Spore, and hated that size changing system... And I was precisely asking if you used CC because I don't have it, so that means I can use something similar to what you did, because it looks great.

Oh, PS is the same thing as when you said PS1:------ PS2:------ PS3:----- and so on, (I just don't know how to mention that properly.)

Ah okay! XD And about the back of the Spinosaur, I used the same parts that I use to make the fingers of the hands of most of my bipedal Dinosaurs :3

Oh, the Nurple or something. I was using that technique on the fingers but not on the sails! Will proceed to use that

Actually we don't know the exact size of Aegisuchus but the biggest estimations gives a croc of 21 meters long! Of course this one doesn't reach this size!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Traheripteryx In reply to ZeWqt [2013-11-01 21:38:15 +0000 UTC]

Well... With Quetzalcoatlus, we 1st thought, it would have a wingspan of 15m, but now we know it would be 10m or 11m.

And with Aegisuchus maybe the same mistake. So it would be plausible, that this animal was a bit smaller.

ZeWqt In reply to Traheripteryx [2013-11-01 21:53:33 +0000 UTC]

Totally agree, I guess Aegisuchus was about 13-15 meters maximum long rather than 17-21 meters...

Thanks. How do you use cheats?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ZeWqt In reply to EdaphosaurusPogonias [2013-10-28 17:40:46 +0000 UTC]

It's Shitf+ALT (or CTRL+ALT, I don't remember since it's an automatism for me now), this opens a cheat box, you type the cheat and press "ENTER" to use the cheat. There is several codes like "adddna" "refillmotives" "freedom" "moremoney", the "adventurelook" codes etc... You can see the cheats by typing "help" in the cheat box.

For the Spinosaurus, I don't think they were as big as you think (maybe you are right, maybe it's be, we can't know) and the Aegisuchus on this picture measures about 14 meters long (it's one of the smallest estimation for this croc as I know). Anyways, thank you! :3

Fragillimus335 In reply to ZeWqt [2013-10-23 15:37:12 +0000 UTC]

Adult Spinosaurus were at least 15.5 meters long.  Even the not fully grown holotype was longer than Sue!  Aegisuchus on the other hand is really a shot in the dark.  Trying to estimate total body length based on brain volume!?  Even the authors state that the lowest estimate they made (15m) is very likely an overestimate.  I personally doubt the animal was over 12 meters long, but it probably did have an enormous ~2.5 meter skull.  I would love to find out it was ~15-20 meters long, but I strongly doubt it.
