Description
The big Eocene cetacean nammed Basilosaurus (here it's the North American species, Basilosaurus cetoides). The first whale fossil that was scientifically described, even if we thought that it was a marine reptile when it's was discovered, hence its name, meaning "royal reptile", so, the opposite of the Cetiosaurus. An alternative title would have been "long whale".
