Description
A little comic strip drawn for .A little bit of dark humor in a very well seen parody of the masterpiece movie, The silence of the lambs.
This is a rewriting of the famous lotion scene, in the world of Zootopia... With our poor Bellwether as the victim of the vicious Billy the Bear (Billy the Kid, in the movie). He's not a skinner, here... Just a psycho who have a fetish for sheep's wool... And Bellwether will be the next to be mowed !
Haha ! Just can't stop laughing looking at those faces. Pretty happy with the perspective on Bellwether... And really proud of the expression of the Bear, because i'm really close of the expression of Billy the kid (the real character) in the specific scene.
Well, if you don't get the reference, it's because you have never seen this movie. And for that, i just can say : WTF DUDE ?! Stop being silly, and go watch it NOW ! Even if you are at work, or in the bed of your boy/girlfriend, stop all pleasant activities and GO WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE. Seriously, The silence of the lambs is one of my favourite movie. You all know how much i like thriller, after all (Se7en ).
Well, enough talking... i have a lot of drawings to do today ^^
See'ya !

Man, that´s so dark but i love this a lot. I think, Bellwether must have some reason to hate predators and this is very good. Nice art you do there, buddy .

This would make me feel more sympathetic to her cause if it was actually part of the movie!
I would still want her to fail but still...

It would be a bit rough if you take it out of the comic context.

Well, it's confirmed that the carnivores in Zootopia get their meat from fish and insects.
It's safe to say only the mammals are sentient o3o

Wow, right in the feels is what I get from this pic. So powerful! I swear, the sequel should give us a backstory like this and it will tell a great moral of forgiveness and kindness with the interaction and cooperation from Judy and Nick. It will also showcase the backlash that the sheep community will face from the actions of Bellwether just like how ISIS brandishes the sacred name of Islam and manipulates the world's views on Islam other than what the Holy Quran prescribes.

I still love your story idea for the sequel, focusing on forgiveness, and kindness by showing that nobody is born villainous, but they are made. This image gives the idea that there may have been predators that have lust after Bellwether's wool which is one of the reasons for her being an easy target for bullying and prejudice. Other than being easy prey, it would seem like sheep possess a certain quality that most mammals lust after, their wool. And the ending still continues to give me a bad feeling of the sheep community slowly about to receive some kind of backlash due to the actions of Bellwether, should another conspiracy start and sheep are unfairly blamed and labeled as terrorists which I'm sure Bellwether never wanted.

I don't see why Sheep would not simply sell the wool. They probably shear themselves every so often, so why not a biz/market to turn that into usable wool? I mean look at what BW is wearing in the movie...all wool clothes, lol.

That's true.
I suppose a lot of bovidea are selling their milk, too... Since those mammals don't really have the choice to produce it or not ^^

C'est très étrange, mais on ressent bien le stresse de Bellwether. J'adore vraiment le fait que le dessin soit en noir et blanc, ça donne une atmosphère encore plus sombre à la pièce.
Bref, j'aime bien

Forgot to mention that looking at this is like remembering many Batman villains like Mr. Freeze, Two Face, Ventriloquist, and even Baby Doll (She's the one that takes the cake) suffer from their own insecurities, mental illness, trauma, tragedy, split personalities, depression, anxiety, and self loathing that motivated them into a life of crime, and now it is happening to Bellwether, suffering deep down from her own dark world of madness and everything she endured as a little lamb, unable to escape the visions and the nightmares of everything, believing that running away into fantasy is where she'll be safe and secure, a fantasy soon to become warped and unintentionally twisted.

There's nothing wrong with Dawn Bellwether having obsessive fanboys. Even people are obsessed with Joker, Riddler, Steven Universe, My Little Pony, Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First, Batman villains, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Frollo, Ursula, Maleficent, even Fire Lord Ozai and Kuvira. So I don't see why some people have to treat it like loving Bellwether is a big difference.

But that's what it is. Good art, IMHO, makes you uncomfortable because it pushes you emotionally to places you hadn't been before. Sometimes, it's a good place....
sometimes it's scary. I didn't like Dawn before. Still don't. But if she HAD gone thru this...I might just be able to understand and forgive her.

The thanks go to you. You made me dump a few of the preconceptions I had about Dawn. I mean, she was going to enjoy watching another sentient creature kill and eat another. In that universe, that's cannibalism. But I could never understand why she could be so ...horribly damaged like that.

That's sad, to see Bellwether wearing no clothing makes it seem as if she was stripped of most of her wool against her will and would later become victimized by sexual assault from any predators that see her as an easy target to take their aggression out on. It's like watching a scene from "Roots" or an anime like "Vampire Princess Miyu" or "Elfen Lied" where we are shown a flashback that the villain did not start evil in the first place, but was motivated and pushed onto that path, revealing that monsters are made, not born. I would hate to think of Bellwether soon about to be...raped after being stripped of her wool which I hope the bear is not capable of, but if he is, it's no wonder she did what she did, blinding her vision with anger, fear, depression, stress, confusion, and self loathing, seeing the face of Billy the Bear on every predator out there who is out to destroy her and the rest of the sheep community, and she must protect them, first by taking down the predators.

Well no offense, but most dark material is hardly that humorous in my opinion. Not that I'm saying it's a bad drawing, but I guess it depends on how well other comedy shows do a job at such parodies and dark themes. Sometimes it is funny, but if it feels like it's done too well, it might feel realistic to the point where you end up feeling sorry for the person in that situation. I don't know if that makes enough sense. I barely saw enough of Silence of the Lambs, so I'm unaware of the scene this image parodies. Still can't help feeling sorry for her. But don't take me too seriously.

Way to suck all the fun out of a little dark humor. Maybe don't be so graphic in your descriptions? Just because someone creates something like this doesn't mean they want entire expositions detailing horrific acts posted in their replies. If you want to write cringy grimdark fic keep it to your own page.

Oh well excuse me if all I'm doing here is stating an honest opinion on what I just said. I didn't say all dark humor was bad, I was only saying that most of the times it can be humorous, and some of it goes too far, depending on how studios write the sequence, but it all depends on how well they do it without going overboard. I never even said anything about this being too graphic. I don't recall ever telling the artist or anyone else to keep it to themselves like you're telling me.
