I actually remember where the "after" picture came from. It's from Charlie Nozawa's Super Mario World comic originally printed in Nintendo Power back in 1992. That comic was hilarious, especially with Peach being a total badass whose only limitation was that there was one of her and thousands of Koopas, Peach escaping from Bowser's castle halfway through the series and then swapping clothes with Luigi (and sending him back in her place to trick them, plus she was pretty hot dressed up as Luigi) all so she could launch a counterattack on the castle to save Mario, and the Mario Bros. psychoanalyzing a Big Boo to help him get to the root of his shyness all in order to escape a haunted house.

I love Peach's potrayal in the comic. She was so competent and awesome (and also badass) than her game counterpart. It's like Super Princess Peach before Super Princess Peach! I love it! Especially as a Peach fan. ^^
