Description
Before school got out I had the idea to do a web-comic. To be honest I've been lazy with it,only working on it when I feel like it. But Here's the first comic all up in it's glory. Also, I had to cut you're short in some of them cause I just didn't have the room for all the text. I'll have to work on that next time.
------------------------------
Edit: The characters in these comics are just characters. They are not real people, nor are the events that happen.

People make fun of me because my name is really Alex and I'm a girl, but luckily, my best friend thinks a boy sounding name is great, but, of course, we're both tomboys, so I seriously don't care my name is Alex .

Its basically my response to anything....
"Why are you eating so many chips at once?" - glitter
"That will be 14.79" - glitter
"Where's the baby?" - so much glitter

This. This this this, so much. I wish I could explain why asking for my "real" name makes me so uncomfortable in just a few words, but no matter how brief or extensive my explanation, people often don't understand. >__<;;

Heh that's why I didn't choose a name similar to my legal one, or one that could be turned easily into a girl's name.

I have a friend who gave himself the name Love Bite. he is not trans or anything. he just changed his name.
Never have I had the temptation to ask his 'real' name. I think someone's name should be part of his or her personality, so if it doesn't fit, you should be able to have a fitting one.
of course, that leads to troubles when people keep changing their names, because they can... I just call them with the name I learned to know them with.

Oh hell no. For me when people ask me my birth name I understand why theyβre curious and they may not know that youβre not supposed to ask that, so I just tell them I donβt tell anyone it. So far Iβve never dealt with anyone who refused to let it go after that, but if anyone ever does continue to push me about it I will begin to lash out. It would make me feel like they donβt respect me as who I am, but in their eyes want to make me be something Iβve broken away from, and I donβt want people to see that no longer existant part of me. It will always be a part of me, but itβs buried away in the vault now, never to be taken out and revealed again. Even if I ever detransition I will not go back to using my birth name, rather Iβd either continue using my current name as is, go by a variation of it, or by my middle name.

"What's your real name?"
"Steffen."
That's about how I approach it. Followed by, "If you wanna know my legal name, I might tell you, but probably not." Always said with a cheeky grin.

This happened to a friend of mine recently, I felt really bad for him. We were at an event where we had to write our birth names on our badges, he had to scribble over his because people were constantly trying to read his "real" name and he wasn't comfortable with that. At some point I got fed up and told the nagging people to stop asking, it's not like THEY were going to be using that name, so why should they even care about it?

i can so relate, even tho i don't tell anyone i'm trans or anything (the bunch of cockbites i hang around would never accept me as a guy anyway, i'm fine with them seeing me as the manly chick with machinegun, whatever floats their boat), every once in a while somebody comes and tries to pry my 'paper name' outta me... i use their nicknames and don't give a fuck about their actual names too, so leave me the hell alone.
One guy even went all "if you don't tell me your name, you're obviously not being honest with me therefore i don't wanna hang out with you anymore". that was harsh i should have replied "if you're forcing me to say something i'm super uncomfortable with, you're not even worth my time anyway..."
Also this guessing game, such a classic..
Anyway, i hope you'll continue in making comics like this. It's an easy apt reading so far and very pleasant to look at. (and sorry for the tl;dr)

Had this exact thing at a card game store several weeks ago. Gives me the shits when people do that. Makes me miss being at school, where most people assumed I was a guy.
