Description
The Leader of the Roal Flush Gang. With his family and team disbanded and being thrown in prison, King was left with nothing after his last encounter with Batman. All seemed lost to King until Sable Thorpe, King's former mistress, visited him in prison and proposed creating a new Royal Flush Gang. She implemented an elaborate plan that freed King as well as his son Jack. After their escape, the trio went to find new equipment as their original equipment was under lockdown and taken apart. They instead found equipment and costumes belonging to a Royal Flush Gang from decades ago. Using this and new technology they stole they've become a more threatening Royal Flush Gang and King will kill Batman for getting in his way and "destroying" his family.
Part of the costume for King comes from the RFG King from Justice League Doom. I thought this would be a better look than the "looks like he's wearing nothing at all" look he had before.

It was an OK Episode. Most people don't like it because it has Batman going toe to toe with a farmer who created mutant animals.
But my mentality wiht it: 'It's the DC Universe. Weird stuff happens all the time.'

From that premise alone, it sounds like this story was an epsiode of the Super Friends era of Batman.
The mutant animals part seems fine. Batman has dealt with enhanced animals before. Where I think this might fall flat is that a high profile hero like Batman is fighting a farmer.

Actually he was a scientist who likely had a farm background. He created the enhanced animals himself and created the hormones and what not that make them grow giant-sized. He made them to get more food out there, but when one of his experiments went haywire, they shut him down and he lost everything. SO he decided to make more mutant animals that were much more violent.

the idea i had with him is this:
Jeremiah Brown was a man born in the corn area that was Smallville, Kansas. He was a farm boy who grew up wnating to become a Agriculture Scientist, especially with wanting to help produce stronger cattle and make it so that the food from those animals could feed more people. He looked into genetic modification with this and began his experimentation. He moved out to the big city after graduating collage in his field of Agriculture Science and Chemistry where he started to work for a company known as GothCorp under one Ferris Boyle and met with many other scientists working there, including Victor Fries and jason Woodrue.
However, a tragic accident occured when he finally showcased one of his animals that he genetically modified. It turned out that not only were the animals bigger, they were also much more aggressive. This lead to the bull he was showing off to go haywire and attack civilians before officers put ti down with a few shots. This ruined Brown, resulting in him becoming ore of a recluse. But upon discovering something with his formulas that he used to make his modifications he discovered what really happened:
Boyle was using his chemicals to secretly make a Super Soldier serum, a recreated version of 'Mirakuru', a dangerous formula that resulted in powerful but beserk warriors. This angered Brown and, knowing full well what had happened, decided to show Gotham what an 'old fashioned farmer' can really do once he found out he was ruined due to boyle's work. Blaming Gotham City, he used the Mirakuru in a way that made him a surprisingly dangerous force. Using it to make his own gentically modified cattle and other farm animals, he created an army of super animals for anyone who wants them. He will even use them on other animals and create a sort of 'kennel' of sorts of Super Soldier animals that will attack anyone on sight if given the right motivation.
So as you can see: once a simple Smallville Agricultural Student, Brown was turned into what is essentially a Super attack Animal seller and basically creates mutant animals via that Mirakuru stuff from the Arrow/Flash Live action TV universe.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2015-05-08 20:25:18 +0000 UTC]
Basically she's more support villain and low-key criminal than full-on murderer, though she goes to Arkham for her dual personalities problem.
My idea is that Marian Dahl, a failed child actress who has a condition that sticks her in the appearance of a 8 year old child, tried many times to get into real work but due to her appearance, she failed to get any roles after her show got canceled. During the years after, her depression and abondoment caused her to go downhill in terms of mentality, making her long for anyone she can call 'a friend' and slowly and surely became violent, becoming more and more insane before the more reserved Marian gained 'Baby Doll', a psychotic version of the child-star character she was most famous for playing and using a dangerously loaded gun and other equipment to make herself a decent threat. Not on the same leagues as the Joekr or anyone like that, but still a noticeable threat in terms of how her crimes are. And she is able to act like different kids with the use of different clothes, make up and wigs.

WEll I'm keeping her and the other Bang Babies as potential foes the Justice League and Titans have to deal with thanks in part to including Dakota
After all...the Justice League HAS fought other rogues galleries before XP And I think any of the Bang Babies could become potential world threats.

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2015-05-25 00:21:10 +0000 UTC]
I think that would be good idea. There's alot of cool metahumans that came out of the Big Bang event and I am a fan of events like that, that give alot of heroes and villains their powers all at once like the DCUO Exobytes and the Particle Accelerator Explosion in Flash.
There are some Bang Babies that could rise to be League villains if their powers are upgraded a bit. Most of them seem like they're street level metas.

Shadow-DJ In reply to Zigwolf [2015-05-25 00:45:39 +0000 UTC]
true. Bubbasaurus is likely one of the strongest Bang Babies. Especially in my take where it took the BLood Syndicate (A group of Metahumans born from the Big Bang), Icon and Rocket to take him out. Since he's a fire-breathing Dinosaur
the ones who are likely more on the leve of the League is the Meta-Breed. You know, Ebon's crew? I have it taht they are strong enough to take on the Teen Titans. Other than them...yeah.
Also...I had an odd idea for a team up arc...with the cast from Fabled? You know those vertigo comics, right?

Zigwolf In reply to Shadow-DJ [2015-05-26 05:12:21 +0000 UTC]
Now that is an awesome Bang Baby to include.
If their abilities get a boost then I could see the as serious threats like if Ebon could use his powers like Jackie Estacado minus the Darklings, Shiv could be martial artist and with his weapon creation he could be tough to take down, and Talon could have a sonic scream comparable to Black Canary's canary cry but at slight lower level and she could shoot projectile hardened feathers.
Yes I know about Fabled, what's your idea ?

I also got Boom, Hotstreak and Cameron Dillow involved
as for the idea, I was thinking that, say...the entire series is actually a TV series in my DCU. Kinda their version of Grimm or. Once Upon a. Time. And in my Titans spinoff for my JLA fic, I'm thinking Control Freak brings some of the Titans into that universe along with Gemworld and Challengers of the. Unknown

here's the story: shadow-dj.deviantart.com/galle…
And here's how I am doing Freeze:
Victor Fries, at first, was a Chemist working at GothCorp while his Wife was ill, using the resources to prolonge her lifespand so he can work on her illines. You know how this goes: he gets the flash-freeze and what not. But in this universe...his insides were affected as well, thus making my take of his armor kinda like Darth Vader in that he has to have super-chilled air breathed in at the source, so in his helmet, he has a facemask that allows him to have a deeper voice.
And after a few years as a normal rogue of Batman's, using his cyrokentic powers he gained from the experience (In that he can control any source of cold and increase it, thus why his Ice Gun works ), he was approached by one Amanda Waller of CADMUS and ARGUS and given a choice: Rot in Arkham and continue his new routine with BAtman, or work for her so he can focus on what is really important: Finding the cure for his wife.
With this in mind, Victor joined CADMUS's staff as a chemist and doctor, using the resources to make his new formula with other minds that Amanda collected over the years for CADMUS and to make up for his MANY prison sentences, he has to work on Task Force X, a group of criminals given second chances by the Government by going into suicide missions, thus why the nickname 'Suicide Squad'. In this team, he kinda acts as a mentor for the younger agents of the team, as he was well in his late 40s when he was frozen, thus trapping him in that age with his mixed up physiology, and even later adopts a child from Dakota, a bang baby by the name of Permafrost, a child caught in the 'Big Bang of Dakota' and would later go on missions to aid the Justice League and other heroes allied wtih the Governments of the World.
but all the while...the main threat to the Squad isn't the Wall, whom is hard boiled but true to her word (And wants to keep the trust of the VERY powerful beings in the Justice League, Titans and all over the place), but by General LAne, who wishes to use the Suicide Squad as a way to get through to get rid of the 'Alien Menaces' out there, thinking the Squad's talents will be of good use.

I'll admit it worked in some parts for Batman Beyond but I'm going with modern costumes of body armor and clothes instead of the classic "painted on" costumes. It just works in some cases but I think artists are moving away from that.
Thanks.

NRGPreview In reply to Zigwolf [2015-04-16 22:01:29 +0000 UTC]
I can see where you are coming from. I just feel the "painted on" works for B. Beyond because the future allows for technology to be more sleek and advanced than bulky and compact.
You're welcome. BTW, what did you ever think of that Toonman Villain Idea I send you?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Zigwolf In reply to NRGPreview [2015-04-17 03:10:35 +0000 UTC]
True but I think the sleek look only works for futuristic technology when it comes to stuff like customizable clothing and stealth materials. When it comes to combat, it's so hard to imagine that a sleek suit could offer protection against bullets or electric shocks (which if I remember right, this was the method used the most to knock B. Batman unconscious) I wouldn't mind the sleek look if there was layers of some kind of armor or material on top like the suit in Tron Legacy.
I did and I hate to criticize but Satan's motivations and a bit of his history is hard to follow. Plus the name Satan seems a out of place for a toon themed hero.
