Years after Charlie Bigelow was turned into the mutant freak Big Time and was defeated by Batman, the world assumed that he died when he fell over a bridge but in reality, Charlie was alive and sent to the secret metahuman prison in Gotham known as Arkham Underground. There he spent a decade imprisoned and experimented on to see what secrets his mutation could unlock. The scientists studying him found a way to concentrate the Cerestone growth hormone in his system to one side of his body and that's how he became half deformed like he is now. Two years before the events of Arkham Beyond he escaped from his prison and took over the criminal gang, The T's and turned himself into the new Two Face, and the T's into the 2's. After being caught by Batman twice, Charlie was sent back to Arkham Underground but is still somehow able to control his gangs despite being in deepest most secure cell the Underground has to offer.
