Description
So after seeing the Ben 10 Omniverse episode Mystery Incorporeal with Darkstar in it, I wanted to take another try at redesigning him to be a little closer to his Omniverse look since for some reason I like it better that his UAF look.
For this redesign, alot of his look comes from Doctor Doom since I think his OV looks just like Doom's. Another look from doom is the cape which I thought would look good and give Darkstar a more sinister appearance. On the cape is the Charms of Geminos, magical talismans meant to be shared by two peoplebut Darkstar has them both which gives extreme power but its highly unstable. This version has more machines and armor on him which come from my rebooted version zigwolf.deviantart.com/art/Dar… where he's an alchemist.
On the right is what he looks like under his main mask. On the left side of his face is him with a respirator on to help him breath. To the right is what he looks like without it. The scar running down his face is froman encounter with Lucky Girl.

Personally, love the design itself, just not the biggest fan of the colors. I just always preferred his black and dark purple colors, but that's just me.

Thanks, I thought with his mask in the series looking close to Doom's, it would make sense to make the rest of him look similar.

Great Design! Especially love the mask and cape combo, along with the SCarecrow-glove XP
I take it you want to get him to be a serious threat like I do, yes? Though I had an idea on how, in Guardians, to explain his family's connections to the Plumers...
GIVEN his powers, I'm thinking his parents were on the more...super natrual side of the Plumbers. You know, with the more magical parts of it. Ben and co works more with the alien group, and the other faction works wtih the Secret Sciensits more with super natrual. With Michael here becoming a mutant due to his parents' exposure to dark magic artifacts, making him need to feed on energy.
And also...with his magical powers, it again comes from his connections to the magical artifacts that created his mutation. And yes, I am keeping it that he IS a mutant but it's due to magic that he was born one But I Am thinking that during his absence (After the Ledgerdomain incident), he went to study from the various tombs he could find and even work with areas of the Secret Scientists, including information that the Saturday's arch nemesis, VV Argost, had left behind.

Wow, I never thought of that. Normally I would of nixed the whole parents being plumbers idea because it was only brought up once and we never hear anything about it again. (In fact that makes me why we hear of other characters having plumber parents and it never gets much explanation beyond that) Anyway, getting back to my original point, I love the idea that his parents were part of the supernatural side of the Plumbers, that idea really brings them back to the original purpose of the Plumbers, to handle all situations too weird for normal people to take care of, whether it was alien or supernatural.
What if instead of the artifacts being the cause of Michael's need to feed on energy, what if before the Plumber's disbanded, Michael's father was sucked into a dark dimension and there he gets possessed by a supernatural parasite. When he's pulled back, no one suspects that the parasite is in control of him. He spends years feeding off of a magical artifact that the plumbers had locked up since normal food cannot sustain his parasite side. Him and his wife eventually have Michael and because of the parasite side of him, Michael was born as something more than human and at the same time less than human. Michael's body was part parasite and around 10 he started to develop the parasitic mouths on his hands. His "father" taught him to control his hunger by feeding on the artifact but eventually Michael was too power crazy to stop and when he was 17 he fought his "father" for the artifact and it broke. Michael beat him and eventually pulled the parasite out and sucked it's life force. With his main source of sustenance gone, Michael was forced to seek out others in pursuit of absorbing their energy and surviving.
I do like the idea of Michael learning things through stuff the VV Argost left behind. He strikes me as the type to learn all kinds of magic no matter what it relates to and Argost was interested in a lot weird stuff around the world.

Nice idea XP And yeah, the alien agents are who we seem to focus on, but maybe the supernatural guys stayed in business by, say....starting the Secret Scientists perchance?
and yes, I am gonna have him be a serious threat as it was meant that he was meant to be super dangerous, it's just that they found ways to drain his energy and his ego got the better of him. I think he can learn to take it easy.
Heck, in Guardians, he apears earlier in an episode that is meant to help the Anodite characters I brought back, Sunny and Verdona (going to explain the origins of Anodites in Guardians as creatures born of magic and how their culture works, including why they let go of 'physical ties', BUT in this case, Verdona, Sunny and the Unknown Anodite parent, a character I made named Fay (She's Frank and Carl's estranged big sister) are reconnecting to a more human half) and showing him as a mastermind before the Charms of Bezel are revealed to be back.

So what is Michael's role in the early appearance ? I'm just not understanding what he does.

With Gwen off to college, he finds out that THREE Anodites who go full energy beings are staying with Max and wishes to get the magical energy in them to fuel himself. So he wants to trick Sunny into thinking they are kindred spirits, especially since she's vulnerable after she and Antonio had to break up, thus making her more prone to act out.
And why her? She's the key to taking the energy from her more powerful mother and grandmother as well, as all three go full Anodite compared to Gwen, so they aren't filtered.
Basically he's a predator out for prey...and that parasite you suggested? MAYBE they're actually the natural predator of Anodites, thus why he's drawn to Gwen.

And when that fails? He goes after Gwen to get to Ledgerdomain via her Keystone (the old momento from the OS that he is gonna use as a way to open the portal with er mana as a way to open it)
Hanks XP Plus if To'kustars can have predators, why not let the full-on energy beings have one Heck, maybe the part that was the 'parasite' DNA showing are those mouth-palms he has XP SINCE IT hinkt he real parasites could look like leech (Seriousyl, the mouth reminds me of a leech's
)

Well, ANY of Ben's female teammates. He seems to always have a LOW opinion on women in general. (Though I think that could be partially because Gabriella (My take on 's idea on Starshine

ALso...with your Aunt Vera idea...
Perhaps she's the chief scientist of the Plumbiers as well as their 'head of operations'? That way it's not just a gender swap of Max (Basically since I think it'd make more sense if she's more of a scientist compared to her brothers)
And for the Dumbledore-like character that works with her...maybe he's a decendent of this hero:

Well Scientist doesn't really seem to fit her, maybe head researcher when it comes to matters alien and magical. She prepares Plumbers going out into the field by informing them on what they might face.
Sounds like a cool idea.

Kinda. the Plumbiers are more focused onthe super natrual aspects of the world, so they do help from time to time. With villains like Hex around and all, it would make sense that there'd be people who deal with the weirder stuff.

Yep Of course when he does that, he accidently gets the original Zs'skayr (The DNA source) out of Ledgerdomain's inbetween realm (basically when he tried to get there originally, he got torn to pieces like I told you before) after the portal healed him. BUT in his fight, he's not gonna be some pushover that Ghostfreak can possess if he's got an interdimensional parasite in him

I had this idea for a possible arc just for Gwen (probably alien nation) Gwen's keystone starts activating again, when Gwen uses it togain the charms of bezel, it instead gives her locations to where the charms are. But she has to go through 7 titans based on her charms, once she acquires them, not only will she take command of the titans, she'll also take controls of the planet they are on.

Im liking this idea alot! Just got some questions and feedback.
Maybe instead of trying to gain the charms from different planets, gwen goes to the planets to energize the Charms she tried to bring back years earlier. They were brought back but without magic in them.
Im liking the Titans idea, is there a theme to them ?
I'm also wondering why 7 if there's 5 charms of Bezel ?
I like the commanding the titans idea, though taking control of their respective planets does seem like its too powerful

Kevfilms2x2 In reply to Zigwolf [2014-03-02 06:52:05 +0000 UTC]
How about, Gwen tries to use the keystone to bring back the charms, but Charmcaster recites the spell for the charms to recarnate to their origins, forcing the two into a space race to control magic itself.
Whoops, meant to say 5.
Each titan is based off the Charms.
Fire
Electric
Plant
Flying
The other is the Guardian of Bezel called "Bezela".
Each titan is powered by the charms, if one were to take the charms, they would take control of the titan. Gwen has a chance to control Bezela for she has the keystone.

So when you say the charms recarnate to their origins, does you mean they were created away from earth.
I looked up the actual charms and they are Luck, Telekinesis/Flight, Fire, Electricity, and Resurrection. If we go with these I got some cool ideas for thr titans.
