A reimagined look for the Space Ghost villain, Brak and here he's called Brak Luro.Brak and his brother Systo Luro are a space pirate duo that can cause way more chaos than thought possible by just two aliens. Brak and Systo grew up on an unforgivably wild planet where survival was the only goal in their life. Because of this harsh upbringing, Brak is a wildly unpredictable fighter with strength as well as lightning fast speed and reflexes.
For Brak's new look, I traded in the black/blue costume, red gloves and long boots for a more warrior like look. His mask has slightly changed to look more wild and even sport the Luro family symbol on the forehead. On the face I put "whisker" spikes since Brak is a cat like alien and I changed that cloth part of his mask to dreadlocks, inspired by Predator. Brak's costume is changed so that he's shirtless and the X lines of his last costume have become war tattoos. His gloves and boots have been changed to spike plated armor. And the final touch is that since Brak is a cat like alien, I gave him a tail to get him slightly away from the humanoid look he had before

I prefer Brak the way he was depicted in the classic space ghost cartoons not the way he was shown in the Brak show.

Yeah, every once in a while, Hanna-Barbera brings up something that makes you wince. Brak is one of them. Dr. Zin is another, and in that case, they somehow managed to make him MORE RACIST as time went on.

Well, in the 90's TV movie "Jonny's Golden Quest", they tried to make Zin less obviously stereotypical "Oriental", much like Dr. No in James Bond Jr, Ming the Merciless in Defenders of the Universe, or the Mandarin in Iron Man. The excuse for his design change is that Zin is dying of a genetic disorder and he's basically rotting from the inside out. In the end, he wound up looking like this www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGnHB5…

I especially love how Zin's evil plan was essentially Big Oil's wet dream, using ethanol to enslave the world. And the insects aren't even cyber, except for the guns the one group had. They were all genetically engineered from extinct bugs, but they weren't cyborgs.
Yep. Just a year before the Real Adventures of Jonny Quest reboot. Which avoided Zin being so offensive by basically leaving him paralyzed so he can't even talk any more.

This design would've been perfect for a Brak cameo in Omniverse. How is this Brak personality wise? I think it'd be cool if he was still the clueless comedy relief despite looking so badass. idk, I have a thing for characters who are the complete opposite of what they look like.

Well he's a lot more villainous than the comedic version and he's got a hunter mentality like Kraven. I think it might have been cool if Brak and Zorak got a cameo in an episode just like how Cow and Chicken did.

Thanks, I actually based this version more on the original Brak from the 1966 Space Ghost instead of the comedic character a lot of people know him for now.

I think it got canceled when Cartoon Network changed in 2000 and with the Cartoon Planet revival, I think it ended because the network wasn't interested in the block showing old cartoons and really bad ones (like Problem Solverz) so they did away with it.
