Description
One of the biggest Hybrids and self proclaimed Queen of the Fire Ants, Tina Howards aka Queen.For all her life Tina has been under the thumb of many people. In her childhood, it was her domineering mother who would make Tina participate in beauty pageants. In her teens, it was her younger sister who was tougher than Tina and made her do all school work and projects that the sister was suppose to do. In her adult years, Tina would be bossed around by her actual boss at her telemarketing job. Tina thought she found someone who wouldn't boss her around in the form of her new boyfriend Derek. He was nice at first, but as time went on, Derek's job as a bouncer and his small paychecks made him into a bitter man who constantly belittled and physically abused Tina .
Tina life would turn around with the "DNAftershock" event that changed hundreds of people into Hybrids. Derek and Tina were changed into Fire Ant Hybrids and their relationship dynamic changed. Tina became a Fire Ant queen and commands Derek do what ever she says even if it's against his will. This was due to his animal instincts command him as a drone to follow his queen's orders. Tina would know be top dog or in this case "top ant" and would rule over everything. To this, she needs an army, not just one warrior, but hundreds. She doesn't keep Inferno around just to command him, she needs him to breed an army.
Queen stands 18 feet tall (twice as large as Inferno) and her fire breathing is comparable to that of a dragon.

I was expecting her to have a more feminized design. Maybe she gets one when she's laying eggs? Queen ants go through a weird phase when they do that.

I wanted to go away from that design to make her look like a big threat. Having that look when she lays eggs might work.

Male ants (drones) are generally smaller and thinner than females, so her being all hulking and "masculine" in appearance is actually quite fitting in relation to real world ants. Her male partner, Derek, would probably be of a smaller and lighter physique in comparison.
She is also of course a mutant. Those mutated genes probably produce a lot of growth hormone.

Yeah she almost looks like a man. The only thing that looks female is her waist. Yes she's part ant, but the other part is human.

Yes, the other part is human, and you could see elements of her humanity. She is still bipedal, she still has fingers with opposable thumbs, she still retains the abdominis and pectoralis muscles. But of course, the ant part is there too, and that is probably what overwrote her primary and secondary sexual characteristics. They probably atrophied to make way for the exoskeleton or the oviparous reproductive system that ants have.

first when you said she can control her former boyfriend, is she able to control him only when he’s in his hybrid form or can she control him regardless if he’s in any other form what so ever?
also do you plan on making human forms for any more of your hybrids characters’s like you did for the team?

Hybrid Form. If he ever turns back to human, he'll be worse off. He's even smaller and has no way of defending himself from an 18 foot tall ant.
