Description
The main villain of the Hybrids.Weston Trexler is an evil billionaire who owns a genetic lab developing the Hybrid serum. He's getting into weapons development for the military and his labs come up with the world's next greatest weapon, weaponized genetic advancement. When the serum is finished he has a special vial made for him with the DNA of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which his scientists warn is very unstable. To show potential buyers that the Hybrid serum can destroy their enemies on a large scale , he plans to activate DNA bombs he's scattered around the city to transform everyone into Hybrids and let them tear each other apart. But standing in his way is the Hybrids team. Though he won't go down easy, he is 3 stories tall and is armed with cybernetic armor for both his arms because of the DNA he's chosen, his arms are incredibly small and weak but the armor grants him super strength and provides a great defense.

This was an early idea before it changed. His plan is to make Hybrids the new dominant species of the world and wipe out the scourge that is humanity.

I think that's a better motive
humans are weak and rely on technology too much and are natural abilities become numbed and thus we rely on technology to protect us.
Rex could possibly have this realization after transforming he'll think he will be benefitting humanity via evolution of genetic improvement.

Yes. He has a genetic suppressor that let's him become human at will, but it should be normally hard for a reptile hybrid like him to transform without that suppressor.

I thought this one was pretty good, but my own main gripe with this version I drew was his color standing out, not in a good way. Plus there was him being too muscular and it just looked weird to me.

Well I kinda hate it when comic book characters are muscular for no good reason and they aren't the type to work out daily but still have the physique of a bodybuilder. Characters like Reed Richards and Charles Xavier who look like this in some appearances

I know mutations can give more muscles but I didn't want it to be a one step solution to why a character has muscular body. Trex gets a colossal size growth and is more muscular but not a hulking physique and he's got thin arms. There's a bit of a tradeoff

I freaking love your hybrid drawings man but I a question about your characters. Are all dino-hybrids evil or would one with oh I don't know Brachiosaurus dna be neutral/good? I also noticed you don't really go for herbivores when making your heroic characters why is that?

All Dinos are evil. This is because Trex chooses who will be Dino Hybrids and the ones he picks are all on his side. A neutral brachiosaurus hybrid could be introduced later on after the city wide event, DNAftershock.
Pure coincidence on why there's not a lot of herbivores as heroes, though Prime is a herbivore and so is Echo because she's a fruit bat. My choice for heroes comes from wanting there to be variety like having a Primate, Canine, Reptile, Rodent, Arachnid, Feline, and Avian.

New idea!!!! Trex's personal bodyguard, an Ankylosaurus hybrid named Spike. Has a club-like tail, is muscle bound with skin as hard as diamond and can launch his spikes at enemies. The only downside is he is most definitely NOT the sharpest tool in the shed.

That does sound good, I'll use that. But I'm think instead of having a tail, his
right hand is the club tail. I'd imagine him as a muscle bound Russian with
very little intelligence to begin with but his transformation adds a short fuse to
an already unstoppable creature.
I'm also making a female limo driver to round out Trex's Dino Crew. She'll become
a Triceratops hybrids with the code name Tri-Sera.

Cool. I like the idea of his arm being the tail. I am now interested in seeing what Tri-Sera looks like. And how about an acrobatic Dimorphodon spy named Screech? On instead of wings he/she has skin flaps sort of like a flying squirrel.
